Garden Court Kitwe
"Currently the best hotel in Kitwe"
Sherbourne Hotel
"Reception and cleaning staff were awesome and professional. Very clean and amazing landscaping. Food not great and slow. Poorly ventilated room, mould in the ceiling, leaking vanity. Kitchen staff were more courteous to light people than black."
Jedidiah Guest House
"House of Jedidiah has truly elevated my jewelry game! Their exquisite collection of earrings is a testament to craftsmanship and style. I couldn't resist treating myself to a pair, and now they're my go-to for any occasion. The attention to detail and quality is unmatched."
Moba Hotel & Convention Centre
"At first sight the hotel appears to be reasonable but the indoor bar was not in use. The outside bar is in a pleasant setting but air pollution spoils the experience. The staff are friendly and efficient but the room design and electrics are poor and actually dangerous. The sockets are not in the correct locations, cables are either too short as on my kettle or joined by illegal means. My bedside lamp was even worse, it was fed directly off the back of a socket offering no protection and I actually received an electric shock. When I called the duty manager to show him the cable caught fire! On the third night no-one could get the aircon to operate. Food was average and there is no filter coffee available. My advice if you want to stay in Kitwe is find a guest house."
Che-Joy
The Milford Lodge
Sherbourne Nkana West Apartments
"This place is by far the worst I have stayed in my entire life. Firstly, It is overpriced for the quality-we were charged K23,600($1180) for 2 apartments. After complaining to the manager, he reduced it to K23300($1165). We reserved 2 flats (2 Bedroomed )... Apartment 1, Bathroom: toilet seat was detached, bathroom water smelling, poor plumbing system(flushing 2x). Kitchen: broken freezer containers, countertops with cracks, toaster not working, stove-100 years to turn it on. Living Room: TV-only 3 channels, dirty remote control, window broken(a person can go through it ), dirty furniture. Bedroom: No Mosquito nets. Apartment 2, Living room: uncomfortable and dirty furniture, dirty remote control, No AC. Kitchen: Stove not working. Bathroom: shower head leaking, toilet not flushing correctly. Bedroom: There were no door handles( We locked ourselves out), and the air conditioner was not working correctly. Note: The good reviews are from 7 years ago when they first opened. The one star is forced by Google to post this review. This place deserves no star."
