The room was clean, but the mini fridge was left unplugged and someone left food in it so it continued to make the room smell horrible. We had to wait a while at the front desk, because the lady was outside and didn’t hear the bell ring multiple times. Didn’t like that the door was a key. So if there’s more than one person staying and someone left and the other stayed, the other was locked in basically. Wish we were able to use the spa but nothing showed how, and waiting at the front desk was a nightmare.

Please note I am only rating their restaurant and didn't experience their hotel. I came here for dinner during my stay as I was looking for new options in the area. First surprise when I arrived, the room was freezing cold. I had to keep my jacket for about 20 minutes as it was not possible to stay otherwise. Luckily, the lady noticed and turned on the heating behind me. There was a grumpy guy sitting in there, not sure what he was doing but just seemed annoyed- then started to ask personal questions...(?!). Anyway, I ordered the wildragout with some spätzles and, the time that I wrote a text, boom! My dish was already there!! I had never experienced that before...I guess everything was just thrown in my plate, then directly in the microwave, meaning my spätzles were clearly warmed up for the second or third time and crispy lol. The ragout was nice but there was only a few pieces of meat for a lot of sauce. The dessert was a homemade parfait with red fruits, consisting in a lot of ice crystals with a red fruit taste. The bill came to around 30€. I am sorry but no, the entire stuff was just unprofessional and money making like. Never again!

Das Hotel war überbucht, zudem war der Inhaber sehr unfreundlich. Unsere Reisekosten wollte er nicht erstatten da er eine Alternative anböte. Diese war aus unserer Sicht nicht akzeptabel, auf unser Geld warten wir immer noch. Der Inhaber war mit der Buchung und Bearbeitung überfordert. Nie wieder.

Gemütliches Haus mit modernen Zimmern, einem schönen Wellnessbereich und herzlichen Gastgebern. Die Lage ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der wunderschönen Vulkaneifel. Vom Hotel zum Pulvermaar ist es ein schöner Spaziergang.

Met 36 motorrijders een drietal dagen verbleven in dit mooie hotel. Goede kamers met modern sanitair. Heerlijk gegeten, zowel diner als uitgebreid ontbijt. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Vlotte bediening. Om de hoek ligt een kleine supermarkt, bank en tankstation. Vlakbij liggen andere mooie plekken, zoals Cochem

Wir haben uns hier sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ein sehr persönlich geführter Gasthof mit toller Küche, alles ist ansprechend sauber. Im Ort selbst gibt es unter anderem einen Irish Pub, den wir ebenfalls nur wärmstens empfehlen können.
Der Parkplatz am Hotel ist eher klein, aber der sehr nah gelegene Supermarktparkplatz darf ebenfalls genutzt werden. Dort gibt es eine öffentliche Lademöglichkeit für Elektroautos. Im Landgasthof selbst ist uns aufgefallen, dass die Inhaber großen Wert auf Umweltschutz legen: am Frühstücksbüffet gibt es keine kleinen Plastikverpackungen, sondern alles ist in sauber verschlossenen kleinen Gläschen abgefüllt. Sehr guter Kaffee! Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen, es waren herrliche, ereignisreiche fünf Tage in der Eifel.

Zimmer neu renoviert, aber leider etwas staubig. Lüftungs- und Heizunganlage machte des Nachts sehr laute Geräusche. Wir bekamen daraufhin ein anderes Zimmer, sauber, keine Geräusche, aber leider morgens um halb acht kein warmes Wasser. Trotzallen Unannehmlichkeiten mussten wir den vollen Preis bezahlen. Service sieht anders aus.

Één warm welkom bij aankomst. Mooie en ruime kamers in een klein dorpje waar je s'avonds met je raam volledig open rustig en goed kan slapen. Lekker eten en frisse pintjes. Ideaal voor mensen de van de natuur willen genieten. Ontbijt is meer dan ok. En dit alles aan een goede prijs. Eigenaars gaan in spontaan overleg met de klanten. En klanten spreken elkaar aan. Heel sociaal.
