AmmaZulu African Palace ★★★★★
"This is not any normal hotel but an experience. The architecture, artwork, woodwork and museum pieces are incredible. "
Lemon Tree B&B ★★★★
"Jane, the owner, was warm, friendly and helpful. I was travelling with my two sons, and phoned her directly late in the morning to enquire about accommodation that evening. I was flustered; she was calm. Come, she said. And so we did. And it was very, very good to arrive somewhere, knowing it was a good part of Kloof, and be met by the actual owner, and shown to our rooms. I wasn't asked to pay before we arrived which annoys the heck out of me. We booked the old fashioned way. Phone, book, pay on arrival. And this is pertinent for most establishments nowadays - get over yourselves. Old school is always best. And Jane knows this, and puts it into practice. The breakfast was excellent, too. Nice linen on the beds and, a welcome sherry to sip on as you arrive after a long journey. We were super comfortable. I could go on all day but know this: if you are looking for somewhere lovely to stay in Kloof, in quiet Kloof, Lemon Tree B&B is amazing. You should go!"
Bizafrika Guest Lodge & Conference Center ★★★★
"The owners were warm and welcoming; manager was responsive and on-the-ball. Enjoyed my stay, amenities were basic but sufficient. It was a peaceful place to work from during the day. There was also a piano, and a very cute little puppy! Overall, great value and would recommend."
Southey House ★★★★
"My company booked Southey House for a week for myself and 4 other coworkers. The property was immaculate, the rooms well equipped with amenities, and the staff service was 5 stars. Despite being in Kloof on business, we were unanimous that our stay there felt like a breakaway due to the sheer comfort and peace of Southey House. We were almost sad to leave but I am looking forward to returning in future. Highly recommend if you are looking for an effortless, classy and restful stay in a beautiful part of KZN."
