The unit was spacious clean and had everything we needed. The bed was king sized, comfortable with clean white cotton bedding. Bathroom was large with plenty of hot water and large fluffy white towels. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in one of the two bed apartments, very comfortable and clean. The golf course great to play and the views are really worth the walk if not playing. Restaurant breakfast is tasty and wholesome. The hotel staff make the place special, always friendly and willing to share a laugh! Thank you for looking after us, we will be back!

We stayed for 1 night on our honeymoon. Our spa treatment was cut short as it was approaching 5pm and the spa therapists needed to leave. We had no hot water. Maintenance eventually came to our room to fix it while we were having breakfast. They left our room door open and beer bottle caps on our counter. We returned and still had no hot water. It's a decent place but the way issues are handled makes it a 1 star hotel.

The first evening went well. We had a problem with the gas heater and aircon., which was resolved by the staff. Waking on the first morning we found there was no power in the plugs in the kitchen/lounge area. The aircon. in the bedroom was not working, the fridges, stove and plug for the kettle were not working. We reported it at reception and was told there was a power outage in parts of Knysna.They did not contact us when the power went off to warn us what was happening. We later found there was no hot water for a shower and no wifi. When reporting this we were told that this is what happens with a power outage.No apologies. The bed was turned the first night but not the second night. The staff did not keep us up to date of what was happening.

Golf Course i would put in top 10 in South Africa, beautiful views great holes and well maintained and very cheap for guests staying. Hotel lovely suites. I took a two bed suite for two of us. Everything that was needed was there with wonderful views over the course and heads. Breakfast was first class with great service and we had one evening meal and the steak was top quality.

We were a group of golfers and stayed at the hotel for 5 nights.The rooms are magnificent.Staff very helpful. Big shoutout to the food and beverages department for amazing breakfasts and dinners.No need to visit restaurants in town given the great food at the hotel.

What an exceptional stay we had for 3 days!! Comfortable beds, all the amenities , The Views all exceptional!! Breakfast caters for Halaal , unfortunately the restaurants do not but we were treated with the loveliest sandwiches upon our 1st evening of check in!! No ask is too big for the Simola team. Preffesional and warm service from all. We will be back soonest and highly recommend a stay at Simola!!
