Hotels Near Hin Ngam Beach in Koh Lanta

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Firstly the staff on the desk were very welcoming and collected our bags from the door and delivered them to our room. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and the check in process was effortless and very efficient. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool and beach were a 2 min walk from our door and the beach restaurant serves excellent food. There were no issues during our stay and I was able to rent a bike from the hotel reception which arrived in 5 mins which was also a very efficient service. After checking out a staff member dropped us to the pier where we continued our journey. Shortly after checking out the manager of the hotel (never got his name) emailed me to say I had managed to leave my €300 camera behind in the room. He rang me to organise how to get the camera back to me and went to the effort of bubble wrapping, and boxing up my camera to be delivered to Koh Phi Phi on the same day and rang me during each stage to keep me in the loop as to where my camera is. Once the camera arrived on the island he rang me to tell me where I was able to collect it. This level of customer service cannot go unrecognised and he asked for nothing in return. I can’t urge travellers enough to stay in this hotel. I will be returning 100%. Thank you very much Lanta Staff & Manager!

Great place near the beach where you can go for a nice evening walk. Staff were also friendly and rented us scooters to get around!

An amazing hotel in a great location. The staff are incredible, the best service ever, they can’t help enough. Especially Su, who looked after us so well and really went the extra mile to make our stay amazing, The restaurant was lovely, on the beach and the food was great. We had a fantastic stay at Long Beach Chalet! Our lagoon pavilion room was beautiful and the perfect place to relax. For my girlfriend's birthday, the staff surprised us with a card and decorations in the room, which made her entire day! The resort itself offered a lot. We enjoyed watching the fire dance show on Saturday night, and it was amazing to see hermit crabs scuttling along the beach at sunset. The pool was a great place to chill out and soak up the sun. We also enjoyed renting moterbikes to see what lanta had to offer, as well as visiting the amazing Lanta Animal Welfare charity during our stay. The breakfast buffet was incredible! There was a huge variety of options, including cereals, juices, fruits, breads, and hot meals. Everything was fresh and delicious. However, a word of caution for vegans like myself, or anyone with allergies: the soy milk they offer contains dairy. Please can I requested that the management label ingredients more clearly and offer a non-dairy milk option, as there currently aren't any plant-based milks available. Also the vegan tofu burger should not automatically come with cheese or an egg based mayo. This is not vegan and can cause some confusion. Despite this minor point, we absolutely loved our stay at Long Beach Chalet. The value was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway!

Everything was to our likes: beach, nearby restaurants, room, cleaning etc. The wifi was sometimes good and a few times less so. The breakfast is very good, both the food and the service. We especially enjoyed our walks in the area on the opposite site of the main road. In between the main road an the hills you walk soon enough in an area with farms, rubber trees and no tourists. The app Maps.me helps to find these smaller paths and roads.

We loved our stay here! We originally only booked 2 nights but ended up staying for another 4 because we loved it so much. The host and all the staff were so friendly and kind! The host even made the whole hotel food and we all ate together - it was delicious and so much fun! The room we had was very nice and we thought the beds were comfortable especially for the price. You can rent mopeds, get your laundry done and he can even help you book all your transfers and day trips at really good rates! It was a really great location with lots of great places to eat nearby. It was also a 2 minute walk to The Sound Shack which is a lovely beach bar. We definitely plan to come back and stay here again!

Rawi Warin's wedding package included essential elements such as decor, flowers, stationery, a wedding officiant, wedding cake and a wedding coordinator, making the planning process more streamlined. While an outdoor wedding was not possible due to weather conditions, the resort efficiently transitioned to an indoor setting, which turned out to be equally enchanting. The attention to detail in the wedding arrangements and the quality of service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations. The resort's pool was also a standout feature, and the surrounding natural beauty added to the overall allure. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Rawi Warin and its dedicated team for their contribution to making our wedding a memorable occasion. We recommend the resort for couples seeking a picturesque destination wedding experience.

Lanta Miami is a beautiful, well maintained beachfront resort. The staff are incredibly helpful and gracious. They can help arrange taxi vans to get around the island easily. The food is delicious and there's lots of variety. The rooms are simple and cleaned daily. There is lots of greenery on the hotel grounds as well as soft lighting at night, making it a very pleasant place to stay. The pool and dining areas open up right onto the beach which is very beautiful. The resort is alcohol-free which makes it great for families, although there are plenty of places nearby that serve it if that's more your style. All in all, a great gem of a location! Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Koh Lanta!

Alama was such a good surprise! All my top options were fully booked and by taking a look at the photos online, I expected quite an average stay/accommodation. But to my surprise, Alama was better than expected and I might consider coming back. I booked the Suite with Garden View and it looked exactly like on the photos. I personally love the southern part of Koh Lanta so to me the location was perfect. There are so many nice bars and restaurants within walking distance, plus a scooter/car rental, a 7 eleven, ATMs and of course Kantiang Bay. Because Alama is so high up, it can be quite a walk to your room or to the pool/breakfast area but the view from there is just stunning and the perfect way to start your day. So hopefully you won't mind the steps either! Just know that there is no alcohol (but you can bring your own) and the toilet has a curtain and then there is a wooden door to the bedroom, so if you have privacy issues, I would not recommend it.

Just wonderful. Outstandingly beautiful location. We loved: The welcome from our longtail and help from the staff to take our luggage to shore. Free kayaks and snorkel gear...and water! Spacious bathrooms Interesting wildlife including tucans...hermit crabs...lizards Dive man!!! Took our 11 year old for first dive Fabulous chef...utterly wonderful food. First class Great waiters Comfy beds Child friendly and felt safe
