Lanta at Home Reviews

This was my second time staying here, I came here last year and didn’t think twice to stay somewhere new on the island. Lanta@home is a wonderful place to stay. The man and his wife who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people, honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met I’d say. They always greet you with big smiles and are super accommodating and friendly. Lanta@Home is very clean and safe and is in a great location - minutes from the beach, restaurants, and place to rent a motorbike to explore the island. 10/10, highly recommend.

That was the best accommodation I've had in Thailand so far. The room was big enough, well equipped and very clean. I was warmly welcomed. It was pleasantly quiet. A good location, everything within walking distance. The woman even drove me to my ferry without asking when I checked out. Always happy to stay again 😊

The room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice. PS. See you soon, Wind. Nice talking to you. You are a fun soul. Nice and helpfully stuff

The hotel is excellent! Very clean and spacious rooms with a panoramic large window and balcony. On the balcony there are 2 chairs and a table. Beautiful view from the window. Very clean and comfortable. Large TV with Internet and YouTube. No excellent. There is a bike rental for 250 baht per day. There are many cafes nearby. Seven is across the road. The beach is a 2-minute walk away.

Although it is just a B&B, the service is first-rate! On the day of check-out, we hurriedly dragged our luggage and left. We forgot our sunscreen clothes and two bracelets in the room. When we were queuing to board the boat, the owner handed them to us. We were stunned. The shock and emotion were beyond words. We will come to Lanta Island again for this store! Definitely!

Good hosts and hotel. It seems cheap but everything is clean.

Although the room is not big, it is enough, with complete facilities and easy to use. The sanitary conditions are very good and the surrounding shopping is convenient. The boss and the front desk are very friendly. Once the motorcycle broke down and we couldn't contact the rental shop, it was the boss who helped us contact and solved our big problem. When we left, we forgot our hats in the room. As a result, the boss rode his motorcycle to chase us to the pier and gave us the hats. We were deeply moved! Environment: Quiet and comfortable. Convenient shopping and eating around. Service: Friendly attitude, proactive and enthusiastic, very considerate.

Very clean and well located hotel. The staff is very kind and attentive, the owner is really lovely, he organized everything for us, excursions, scooter rental, taxi etc. He also gives very good advice on what we can do. We had a great stay at this hotel and if we come back to Koh Lanta, this is where we will stay.

Overall good, the room is suitable for the price. Amenities in the room are complete. The owner and service staff are good at giving advice. Importantly, the room is very clean.

One of the best stays I've had the pleasure of experiencing! The rooms were tidy, spacious and very nice, with water bottles being brought to you every morning. I loved how comfortable the bed was, and I can't think of anyway how the room could have been better. Additionally the people running the place are some of the loveliest people I've ever met, particularly the owner/person at the front desk, Win. I really enjoyed chatting with Win, and he was one of the most attentive and helpful people I have ever met. He also helped me out with renting a scooter, which made my stay in Koh Lanta even more enjoyable. It was always nice to walk in or out of the hotel, as there was always a group of kids watching tv on the couch, who really created a cozy atmosphere, or the owner was there smiling and asking how your day has been so far. I was there for only 4 nights, but could have easily stayed for many more, and I was sad to leave the place. I really really could not recommend this place enough, and will try to visit it again someday, even to just greet Win.
