"Booked this up last minute, lucky we managed to get a room. Easy to get to location, reasonably near to local shops, restaurants and bars etc. Resort is separate and closed off to the Water Park itself, so not getting surges of visitors. Set up the hill a bit, nice quiet place. The facilities are good, with various amenities and a large swimming pool for resort guests only. Nice sitting areas around, well maintained gardens etc. Most rooms face onto this central area, having either a patio or balcony. I liked it a lot. Room service, gym as well as massage and bike hire etc.
Friendly, helpful staff, who ensure you have what you need. Good secure onsite parking with security guard overnight.
Nice big room, comfy bed, with good storage also, for longer stays. Would definitely recommend it, and will stay again in the future."

"I stayed at this lovely hostel in Koh Lanta and absolutely loved it!
The dorm room was super clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and it really felt like home away from home.
The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed — from local tips to transportation. You can really feel how much they care about their guests.
It’s the perfect place to stay if you want a cozy, relaxed vibe while still meeting nice people from around the world. I would definitely come back here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Lanta! 💛"

"Nice welcome from the owner who was kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff are kind and smiling. Nice place by the sea (despite some improvement work) and pretty well-equipped bungalows: small fridge, really useful air conditioning, impeccable wifi, a small table and chairs, clothes line and above all a hammock in front of each bungalow. I highly recommend this place"

"The service was unbeatable, super attentive, and lovely people. The breakfast changes daily, and they put a lot of love into it, which is much appreciated! The room was a bit small, though the mattress was quite comfortable, and everything was new. However, be warned! If you can't stand bugs and insects of all kinds, this is not the place for you. It's right above a river and very close to the beach, plus the cabin has some small holes through which little critters can sneak in. 😁"

"Loved it!!! Amazing location with stunning views! I didnt even want to wear my headphones and listen to my music. I was so enjoying my food by the gorgeous beach, i would come out in the evening and watch the sun going down, i would come out at night and lay down on a bench and stare at the super bright stars, and would always listen to the sound of waves... The staff was super helpful and helped me with all of my endless questions:))) The room was clean and comfortable. I have ONLY positive memories now and so grateful for my perfect Lanta experience!💕💕💕 i would also like to say that this place suits anybody, be it a single traveller,family with kids or just a bunch of friends."

"Family hotel. Many families with children. There is a small pool. The houses are different. Depending on your booking. I had a house with floor-to-ceiling windows. The house has everything you need for a holiday. Breakfasts are extra. The sea is nearby."

"We arrived for check-in at two o'clock in the afternoon, but the room was not ready yet, we left our things and went to have lunch. We arrived an hour and a half later, but the room was still not ready🤬 a very old and noisy air conditioner that does not even have a remote control, to adjust the air conditioner you had to go to the remote control located on the wall opposite the bed. But the hotel grounds are quite beautiful and well-kept, there is a swimming pool"

"The staff were phenomenal and the common spaces, like the main pool, beachfront, and the breakfast space, were very nice. Location was also very convenient for us as we were going to Saladan every day for our scuba course. However, the room itself was quite dated. Floors didn’t feel clean, furniture needed an upgrade, and there were a lot of mosquitoes that got into our room every night despite weekly fumigation efforts by the hotel. The AC also didn’t extend into the bathroom so it was very hot."

"We stayed in the deluxe bungalow garden view, a huge room with a large bathroom. Great shower with lots of hot water. The TV is a smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other apps. The bed is comfortable, hard pillows though. Our room overlooked a nicely kept garden and we could also see the sea which was about a 100 meter walk. This resort is located at the beginning of long beach. Beach restaurants start right beside it and continue down the 6 km beautiful beach. The beach is sandy with no coral to dodge while getting in.
The staff are all friendly and accommodating. A 5 minute 150 baht tuk tuk ride takes you into town. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend."

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying here, I came here last year and didn’t think twice to stay somewhere new on the island. Lanta@home is a wonderful place to stay. The man and his wife who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people, honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met I’d say. They always greet you with big smiles and are super accommodating and friendly. Lanta@Home is very clean and safe and is in a great location - minutes from the beach, restaurants, and place to rent a motorbike to explore the island. 10/10, highly recommend.

NOTE: This is quite far, and not super easy to get to the main area. Go here if you are happy to pay taxi to get back to 7 eleven etc.

GGuest UserSuper beautiful, the view from the beach villa is a dream and is definitely worth the extra cost. Nice and shady on the terrace. In the mornings it is also shady on the private beach and the pool as well. A dream for families. Everything is spread out wonderfully so you never have the feeling that it is too crowded. Pool towels are available right by the pool. The staff were very nice and friendly and the food was delicious. For breakfast there was toast, bread, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, muesli, cornflakes, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, a small warm buffet with sausages, beans and a daily changing warm dish such as rice with vegetables, curry, pasta with vegetables. However, there was no classic cold cuts such as sausage or cheese, but ”only” jam, Nutella, artificial cheese cream. For us it was perfectly adequate. However, if you stay longer than a week it could get a bit boring.

The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer and hot water bottle. It has to be given. It feels too strange. Is there still no hair dryer for washing my hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels throughout the whole process, the only hotel that received a deposit.
It may be the peak season relationship, Trip.com reservation, 8 Chairman Mao for one night, expensive, does not match the facilities, I feel that 4, 5 are OK.

HHanneMI had an amazing stay at the brand-new Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort! The bungalows are unique, built on stilts amidst lush greenery, with a magical view over the treetops and the coast. Staying here feels like being in a small fairytale, with comfortable beds, modern air conditioning, and a lovely terrace featuring both a bathtub and sun loungers. Between the bungalows, charming lighting in the trees creates a special and cozy atmosphere in the evenings. If any challenges arise, the staff and owner are incredibly attentive and resolve everything quickly and efficiently. The service is truly top-notch! The resort is just a 5-7 minute walk from a beautiful and peaceful beach, and shops and restaurants are also nearby. Across the road, Pad Thai Rock n Roll serves absolutely amazing food, and their staff is incredibly friendly – a must-visit during your stay. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from four to nine nights. Note that the hotel shares its reception with Bakantiang Resort, so make sure to mention this to your taxi driver to find the correct location. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserRoom is very comfortable, bed is good, linen is clean, a/c is new. Towels are old, but clean. Territory of hotel is wonderful, everything is so green and beautiful. Frogs sing at night. Very calm place if you want good sleep. I stayed at low season, so some things were abandoned, sunbeds are in bad condition, shower near swimming pool didn't work correctly. Staff is nice. My light in room didn't work, so staff solved this problem on this day.
Breakfast is good, you have choice.
Long dao beach is very flat, so its good place for families with children I think.
Good thing that you can order tickets to ferry on reception, but you need to verify the price (sometimes is better to buy in pier, its just 1,5km from this place).

Zzyz900929The rooms are large and the scenery is beautiful. This is my favorite hotel among the three hotels I stayed in Thailand. We are two people staying in the hotel. There are currently four rooms in the hotel. The rooms are very spacious. Listening to the waves, it ’s really beautiful. The front desk apple and the hotel waiter made us very comfortable. Special thanks to the male boss who helped us solve many problems, to help us rent a car, to inform us about sea issues and all other help. Thank you 🙏 Of course, the most satisfied is the dining problem, I like the breakfast and dinner dishes here, it is very delicious, really ~ I would like to stay here next time ~ ❤️

- Staff are very nice and friendly.
- Really listen to feedback - last time I had suggested water dispensers to save on plastic, when we returned for this trip (only 2 weeks later) there was now one on each floor! This was amazing to see and I'm so glad the hotel is taking steps to be more eco friendly, so thank you!
- The room was much bigger than it looks, and has a large desk with a chair.
- Strong, reliable WiFi.
- Very clean.
- On our previous trip, we were able to check in early at no extra cost which we really appreciated :)
- Room includes a fridge.
- Very close to a 7-eleven and a few restaurants, although we didn't go to that particular stretch of beach it is also close to a beach, located in a more quiet area in the centre of the island making it easy to visit the north and south (but, the location does require you to have a motorbike to get around!).
- Good, strong air con.
- Value for money is very good.
The only negative during our stay was that at one point my boyfriend's shoes were nowhere to be found in the lobby, (as per Thai culture, you must leave them outside before entering the guest house), and it turned out another guest / neighbour had 'borrowed' them. Luckily they had only gone to the shop and so we weren't without the shoes for long, but it still wasn't ideal... Not the fault of the owner, but perhaps a sign requesting people to not do this? Overall though, we had a great stay and would definitely come back if we visit Koh Lanta again!

SStanleyVery nice and quiet bungalow. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. You'll sleep with and wake up to the sounds of nature. The bungalows are well taken care of. Ada (the owner) is very friendly and helpful! The drive to Long Beach/downtown is a gorgeous drive and takes about 30 minutes.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a stunning location. The views are simply amazing. It is noticeable that the hotel has remnants of its former luxury, that it is ancient and has not been in operation for a long time. But the ratio of the price ($50 per night) with the service and the opening views of the island and the sea - only covers its shortcomings in the form of tired furniture. The choice of food is not very large, but we are not a picky customer. We were satisfied with everything, including breakfast included in the price and separate dishes that we ordered for lunch and dinner.
The staff is very friendly and fulfilled every request.
The downside is that there is no swimming beach, but after walking 1 kilometer along the beach, we realized that there are no ideal beaches on this side. And all the five hotels that were along the road are suffering just as much as we are, only the price is higher there.
Another minus is that the room we chose near the pool is high up and it’s hard to climb up the steps into it, but this effort is rewarded with a mesmerizing view from the room or the pool.
We spent most of the time at the pool, because... Swimming on the beach is not very comfortable. But I think that we are lucky, because... we were alone there. Completely alone, there were only 5 people in the hotel, together with us, and we saw other people a couple of times. It was gorgeous, chilling in the pool with the coolest views of other islands and watching the birds fly from tree to tree.
