The Seacret Kohlarn

Overall, I liked the hotel, but I was scared by the huge cockroaches I saw. I understand that for a hotel on an island in Thailand this might be something you can overlook. However, what really disappointed me were the small ants that bit me at night — I’m attaching photos. The location is about a 25-minute walk to the beach or around 5–7 minutes by motorbike. I didn’t use any special services, so I can’t fully evaluate the overall service. Breakfast would not be something I recommend for Western tourists, as it’s very local (rice soup). I don’t have any special needs, so the basic amenities — drinking water, a fridge, a hair dryer, and two large towels — were perfectly fine for me.

The place is actually really good, overall was good but only the location is not that good. It’s like 10 minutes from the Nabaan pier which is good, but 20 minutes with hills to the Tawaen beach.

Aside from the hotel’s location, the overall experience was disappointing. The rooms were not very clean, and there was a pervasive smell of humidity throughout the property. The breakfast was poor, but the main issue was the unprofessional and unfriendly staff. They were neither welcoming nor attentive. One morning, we found a large cockroach in the bathroom and asked a staff member to clean it. She initially just stood there awkwardly, and I had to insist a second time before she acted. When she finally did, she laughed at me, which was incredibly disrespectful. I understand that being in Thailand means encountering insects occasionally, but the way this was handled, without so much as an apology, was unacceptable. Additionally, any time we asked for assistance, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. One staff member, in particular, spent most of his time playing on his phone, leaving us to wonder why he was even there, this is basically the way he talks, welcomes and answers you… I cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Far from the pier 550 meters by walk around 5 minutes and the resort they have compliment hotel-pier transportation

Everything is top notch. In hotel premise is a good spot to take photo too. Breakfast is provided and no limit for extra food. Bike is available but have to add 300 baht for the whole day use. When is the time to check out, they provide the service to send you to the pier. Just would be better if they do provide iron. Anyway i will come to stay in this hotel again if i woild visit Koh Larn

Its okay but not that good for me. No hair dry machine and the bathroom kinda abit smell
