Charming Lipe Beach Resort Reviews

Pros : Very friendly and helpful nice staff, great location 3 minute walk from drop off and pick up as well as from walking street, swimming area very close to hotel also, free beach towels /mats and snorkelling masks, cost is affordable Cons: Very limited and sporadic internet connection, rooms are a bit dated and are quite small room (thought it was a bit bigger - we stayed in a bungalow), bathroom smelled pretty bad the whole time, but it is an island and I guess that is probably kinda normal…wasn’t unbearable, just not nice and finally, if you’re towards the front of the place, there is a bar next door with loud music until 2 every night…further back and you’re fine and it’s probably very peaceful. Overall it’s not bad but not sure I’d stay again if other places were available.

Good location just where the jetty and beach. Walking street is just 1min walk. However no frills hotel. They do not provide daily housekeeping Even the towels not changed and need to request

We had an awesome stay! You will have your own bungalow which has a huge bed, a refrigerator, AC and drinks + Coffee for free! Very cool extra: there are many usb ports for charging! You are right in the exact middle of the pattaya beach and a few meters away from the walking street. Nights are very quite for great sleep and staff was more than friendly. You even get a free welcome drink with refreshing towel which is a big plus after you arrive by boat! We really liked our 4 day stay and would recommend and book again. More than happy :)

Very good location, step to main beach, customs and main streat. Very helpful and nice staff. Clean rooms, good air conditioning, all facilities OK. Very nice balcon to good view and nice bars. Quit place.

Tide was crazily high with lots of debris and rubbish, sandbags at front door exposed so all around looked pretty untidy. Very clean room, lovely staff, no English spoken, wrong time of year for Koh Lipe, not many shops open in the street, rubbish all over the island and only a few hotels open and ready. Motorbikes/sidebars whizz up and down walking street which is narrow, so look have to look out for them constantly. Retailers not friendly as so bored without customers in Sept/Oct. Covids had a huge effect on this beautiful island, won't be coming back for a couple of years unfortunately...all looked very grim!!!

Everything was fine

From Hat Yai, it's only 50 meters to the beach hotel. The tide rises to the hotel entrance at night, which is great. When you go into the water to the depth of your thigh, you can see corals, and coral fish 🐠 will come to bump into your calves, which is very interesting. The hotel is not very clean, the lighting is not very bright, the bed sheets are dark blue, and there are many mosquitoes.

The hotel front desk is very bad, they go back on their word and tell lies. The hotel hygiene is worrying. The towels and bedding are dirty and wet. The photos are deceptive. I don't recommend it.

The room is not big, the biggest advantage is that it is next to the pier

The room was very small, but the bed was very big. We encountered a terrible problem with sewage bathing. Fortunately, Ctrip promptly followed up and solved the problem for us. There are also staff who get off work at 5pm every day. If you have any questions, it is difficult for you to contact them smoothly.

Very good, very good place, very cost-effective. What a great little detached house, right on the beach.
