Ten Moons Lipe Resort Reviews

From the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!! Pros: - Stunning location - Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic! - Great breakfast selection - Food available all day - Clean - Staff helpful and friendly - Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free - Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing - Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!) - Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas Cons: - One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists - No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in) - No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away) - Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs) We would most certainly stay here again!

Room was decent but standard beach bungalow and had to walk along the beach to get to the walking street. Staff were very friendly.

Starting from great man Den which pick us up from customs and bring us to hugs of Wonderful Pen and Nui😘. Great job Ladies!Good place, best memories, true opened hearts, best view in the Koh Lipe island! This place will be in my heart!

Ten Moons was amazing and the Staff even better. I am a single father traveling with my two children and this Staff predicted whatever we needed or wanted before we could speak it. Pen and Fa were wonderful in coordinating day trips for us. Somehow are room was cleaned everyday while we had our quick breakfast. Markie, Panida, LeLe and EiEi were so wonderful in the restaurant. My children looked forward to going there for every meal to be able to joke and laugh with all of them. They taught us a lot about island life and Thai language. We miss them already and will definitely be coming back as often as possible. Oh, and Smiley the dog. We will miss him too. This is an wonderful place.

Amazing place, in the very best location (best beach, in the best corner, still not hard to reach the center). The staff was simply the most helpful ever. I strongly recommend the beach front huts, we were in hut number 04 and felt great.

I had stayed in Salem before, so I wanted to experience October this time. The sea view in front of October is top-notch. The restaurant has these views. The sunrise in the morning is very good. The restaurant doesn't have many dishes but they are all delicious. The service staff impressed me. Very very very very good. I think the most regrettable thing is the facilities in the room. It is relatively shabby. If you don't care about the accommodation conditions. It's really good if you want to play. The beach outside is really good.

The room is quite big, and there is a beautiful beach outside. The room does not provide toiletries and slippers, please bring your own. The facilities in the room are a bit old. It is good to have such conditions on the island. When you arrive at the pier, the hotel waiter will pick you up by boat, don't worry. The waiter's attitude is OK, and the restaurant food is also OK.

The wooden original ecological room is a special experience, the service is good, the extra bed charge is reasonable, and the food tastes good! The white beach in front of the hotel is the best in the entire sunrise beach, and the free snorkeling experience is good!

The hotel has the best beach on the island, with white and fine sand. The staff is very enthusiastic and the service is impeccable. When I came in March, the price was still very expensive. The room price was much cheaper in April. The hotel breakfast tasted good, but the facilities were old. However, the hygiene was good and there were no bugs, which was very good. The hotel provides paid equipment for free.

The beach in October is really amazing, it's so photogenic. The hotel staff is very friendly. There is a special person to pick you up after you arrive at the shore. When you leave, the guy will take you to the pier and help you carry your luggage throughout the journey. It's very good. As for the environment, after looking around, I like the trees and the beach in October the most. The hotel provides free snorkeling, and the best time to play in the water is from 12 am to 7 pm. It's very good, I will choose it next time I come to Lipe👍

The location, breakfast, rooms, etc. of the hotel are all good, and the price-performance ratio is very high 👍But the service gives one star because the hotel's luggage handler opened my suitcase. I am very sure that we locked the suitcase and scrambled the password before leaving the hotel. Since the ship was in the afternoon and the hotel had to check out at 11 o'clock, the waiter told us to put the luggage in the room and go to the pier at 2 pm when we arrived at the bus point. When we arrived at the pier, we found that the suitcase had been opened. My husband said that it was opened by something similar to the customs lock. Because the password was wrong, the unlocking key could not be pushed open, but the two zippers on the suitcase were not in the lock. It was obviously opened by abnormal means. Since the cash and cards were stolen in the previous hotel, I was too lazy to call the police for such a situation. Remind you to carry valuables with you when you go to Thailand, a cross-body bag is a must!

On the last day, we moved to Ananya and were sent there by boat. The front desk stood on the beach and waved goodbye to us, which was very enthusiastic. The most common thing I heard from the front desk these days is that it’s ok, whatever you want. The hotel has various snorkeling supplies, beach toys, and life jackets for rent, all free of charge. Breakfast is a menu, which is relatively simple, but tastes good. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, which provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are too lazy to go out, you can choose to eat directly in the hotel. All in all, really like it here!

Excellent hotel. We liked everything. We took a view house, not the highest, but the view was very beautiful! We stayed here for 4 nights. 2nd beach. One with rocks, the second without rocks. Fish. Great for snorkeling. Good, tasty restaurant for evening dinner. Breakfasts are a la carte, nothing special, but everything is delicious. I recommend. The staff is wonderful. Sincere. Everyone is kind, trying to help. We took a snorkeling excursion from the hotel (trip B) and were also pleased 👌🏼. The rooms are of course old, but this did not spoil our vacation!
