Great location near shopping areas and the train station. Very convenient for getting around. The food was delicious, and I had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

The front desk staff are very helpful and nice. I had booked my stay on 16-18 Sept 1 room for 2 nights and a separate booking on 18-19 Sept 1 room for 1 night, so I had ask the front desk to change for me, they are so delighted and helpful to change for me to  18-19 Sept 1 room to 3 night so I don’t have to check-out on 18 Sept at 11am and check-in again ito get other room for the last night. Thanks again for the front desk staff.

The location is fantastic – a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. There are plenty of great shops right downstairs and all around, perfect for browsing. Daimaru Department Store and luxury shops are just a 5-6 minute walk away. Kobe itself left a strong impression on me with its numerous, interconnected, and easily accessible shopping streets. What's more, direct buses are available to the outlet mall, Kansai International Airport, and Kobe Airport.

Frankly, switching from our first hotel to Koko was a bit disappointing. The room was incredibly small; we could only open our luggage in the corridor. The hotel is located in Sannomiya, with the Kitano area right downstairs, and Bshop and Asahi Hall just across the street. Other independent luxury brand boutiques are also in the vicinity, which is certainly very convenient. However, it's quite a long walk from the subway station.

Located in the central business district, the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hanshin Sannomiya Station. The walk itself is quite enjoyable, lined with numerous restaurants, gourmet food stalls, and chic boutiques, so the distance wasn't an issue at all. Considering the price, the room was more than satisfactory – clean and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was also excellent. I even found that paying directly at the front desk upon arrival offered a slightly better rate than booking for the next day, making it fantastic value for money. This place is a paradise for shoppers, with a The North Face store right downstairs and other popular brands like Arc'teryx, Mont-bell, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Issey Miyake just a stone's throw away. The area still feels quite local and hasn't been heavily touristed, offering a more genuine and relaxed Japanese experience. The hotel's proximity to the sea also offers a delightful evening stroll to the port, where you can enjoy quiet, undisturbed views. The gentle night air and boundless romantic serenity were truly therapeutic.

The facilities are a bit dated. It's a bit of a walk from Sannomiya Station in Kobe, taking about 9-10 minutes, and even with a map, it can be quite tricky to locate. However, it offers good value for money, costing around 320 per person for two nights. The front desk staff were also very friendly. If you're on a tight budget, Kokk Hotel Kobe is still a decent choice.

Definitely steer clear of this hotel!! The hygiene is absolutely appalling. First, to access the hotel, you must take an elevator or stairs from the ground floor, but the elevator has no air conditioning and the ventilation system is so poor it's exceptionally stuffy and hot. There were no welcome drinks or even drinking water in the lobby. The hotel corridors reeked of stale socks, clearly due to the carpets not being cleaned for years. The elevators also had a bad odor, and they even sprayed air freshener, which somehow made it even worse. Upon entering the room, there was a strong, stale smell. The entire place felt incredibly old and dilapidated. The disposable slippers are extremely thin and slippery, posing a fall hazard when going up the bathroom steps. If they don't replace these, they're practically inviting a lawsuit when a guest slips and falls. They made the hallway incredibly narrow just to fit a wardrobe, while also cramming in too many beds, making the room feel increasingly cramped. It's utterly baffling. The air conditioning buttons were unresponsive; you had to press them really hard to get any reaction. None of the light switches were grouped together – you had to find and turn each one on individually. There was also no main overhead light. All the lights were yellow, making the room feel incredibly dim. The bed offered poor support. The communal ice machine was filthy, covered in hair from God knows where. The hairdryer in the room was also dirty. It's no wonder there are so many negative reviews; I deeply regret staying here!!!

The hotel is centrally located in Kobe Sannomiya's commercial hub, right next to the Old Foreign Settlement, and within walking distance of the station and shopping areas. The surrounding area is bustling and very convenient. The hotel features a modern, minimalist design, and rooms are well-maintained with modern amenities. It offers free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. From our window, we even saw fireworks over the sea.

Location: It's a bit of a walk from Sannomiya subway station, about 10 minutes even at a brisk pace. There's no convenience store right downstairs; the nearest Lawson is a 4-5 minute brisk walk away. Pros: 1. The front desk staff were highly efficient and quick to respond to requests, which was excellent. 2. Adding breakfast when booking offered great value for money. The breakfast alone is a strong reason I'd consider rebooking this hotel. Cons: 1. The air conditioning panel continuously displayed a 'Filter Cleaning' alert. Despite daily room cleaning, the filter didn't seem to have been changed or cleaned. This persistent alert made me concerned about the indoor air quality, especially for guests with respiratory sensitivities. 2. When draining the bathtub, the adjacent floor drain would noticeably back up. I suspect this is due to an inadequate drain pipe diameter or insufficient slope during installation, which couldn't handle a sudden large volume of water. We had to be extremely careful every time we used it to avoid flooding the bathroom.

Great location right by the train stations. Surrounded by great restaurants and golf shops. Convince store is near by. Awesome facility and great service. I recommend!!!

Great overall stay. Second time here. Wonderful view of the sea and surrounding area. Great perks if you booked an executive room. it's a bit far from sannomiya station, but they have a bus that brings you there and back so it's extremely convenient.
