Hotel is more suited for business travellers as nearby corporates offices suggests. As a solo leisure traveller the hotel was not for me, in terms of sightseeing etc with everything futher away. Breakfast and dinner selection was somewhat limited but nice food. Prakash the waiter served with care and efficiency. At the Spa on one of the nights there was no one there at the reception to take queries as the one and only therapist was engaged with an appointment! So what does one do wait for hours to be atteneded to? As a sign suggested i left a message for a call back for an appointment, but got none.

This hidden gem beckons with the promise of peace, away from the cacophony of city life. The heart of any stay, the accommodation, at Ramada starts with our choice of one of the lakefront cottages, room number 101 on the first floor, to be precise. Boasting what is arguably the property’s most breathtaking view, it offers a serene panorama. Yet, the cottage’s allure is tinged by an air of modesty; the furnishings and décor suggest a comfortable yet understated two-star charm, rather than opulent luxury. Notwithstanding, the cleanliness, effective air conditioning, and tidy bathroom facilities do offer a sanctuary from Kochi’s relentless humidity. Transitioning from the room to the hotel’s culinary offerings, the experience at Pearlspot, the in-house seafood restaurant, was less than stellar. The prawn dishes, expected to be a highlight, fell short in flavor and portion size, not aligning with the ambiance or expectations set by the locale. The staff, warm and accommodating, strive to bridge the gap between guest needs and facilities delivery. Despite their earnest efforts, there seems to be a gap in the finesse and professional polish one might expect from qualified hotel ***agement, which could enhance the overall guest experience significantly. While this Ramada property might beckon as an idyllic retreat for those seeking to disconnect and relax (‘veg out’), it’s important to ***age expectations. The hotel, with its tranquil setting, aligns more closely with the quaint charm of a well-maintained two-star property rather than the grandeur of its self-proclaimed five-star status. Concluding the experience, the pricing—9,000 rupees for a one-night Thursday stay in February—reflects a fair compromise between the serene location and the modest amenities on offer. Ideal for a fleeting escape, Ramada serves as a reminder that tranquility can be found, if one is willing to temper luxury expectations for the charm of simplicity and solitude.

The hotel left a very mixed impression. On the one hand, it is absolutely charming - the design of the hotel, the rooms, the courtyard - all this touches and immerses you in an atmosphere of rest and relaxation. On the other hand, there are a lot of disadvantages that can outweigh the advantages. For example, the rooms are very cold even when the air conditioner is off. And in general, air conditioners are constantly working everywhere, so I did not get out of a warm sweater with a hood. Didn't like the food. I understand that this is India, but usually large hotels also have a European menu. Here, too, there were options, but either peppered and spicy anyway, or a la fast food (pizza and burgers). In general, if you are a gastritis, an ulcer, or for some other reason are limited in nutrition, then you will have a very difficult time. The staff is very arrogant (not all of course, but the general mass), there is always a feeling that you owe them something. Well, the last little remark, speaking about the attitude and sensitivity of the staff: we arrived on my husband's birthday and did not even hear the banal ”happy birthday” at the check-in. First time like this. Usually they will at least verbally congratulate, as a maximum they will treat you with cakes)

We satyed here f or a day as we had to attend a marriage nearby. The place is very clean and comfortble. Early check in was allowed. We had dinner in their 2nd floor restaurant and we had called our local relatives too. Food was mamageable but nothing great. We didn't go for the buffet spread as we didn't like the options. The place has no liquor permit. The inclsuive breeafast was just about ok. The service was poor. I ordered omlette a couple of times and it was never served. The staff was reasonably friednly and the friedliest one was the door ***. The palce has nice parkign facility underground.

We enjoyed two wonderful days at the Tissa‘s. Everything from location, cleanliness, food to the nicely decorated rooms are top! We want to call out the staff - who were super helpful in booking day trips, massages and transportation. We felt at home from the very first minute and loved their friendliness, smiles and warmth!

We stayed for 2 nights at the property. I was travelling with my parents, wife and 1.5 year old kid. Staff was extremely cooperative and kid friendly. They helped us by making baby food whenever we needed and were very prompt in their room service. Hotel location is also good. It’s almost equidistant from fort Kochi and ernakulum. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone travelling with their family. The buffet spread was very lavish, having varied dishes across the globe with traditional Kerala food. The taste was just perfect and breads were made to your wish and liking. The hotel staff was very co-operative and made us feel comfortable every minute of the trip. Service speed was awesome, you order and the bell rings within 15 mins. Overall, an amazing stay and recommend for all.
