Excellent rooms. Great location especially if you are there for the biennale. Also close to the ferries and the the matancherry attractions. Good restaurant, though with limited offerings. Great ayurvedic massage

Excellent value for money. Very charming courtyard and restaurant by the water. Superb breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable. Only issue was the shower which sprouted only scalding hot or cold water. Had to ask for a bucket to mix water to the right temperature. Massage was above average. New years eve dinner was reasonably priced and the highlight was the extremely talented singer Jeremiah Rodriguez who kept us entertained for hours. Special thanks to Nisha at the front office who provided us with all the help we needed starting from our communication from a few months before our trip

Unique, simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Brilliantly located for all the local sites in wonderful Fort Kochi and the ferry terminal. Delightful waterfront restaurant- probably the best location to dine in the city. Watching the boats and ships was a real treat. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk and the band practice next door was a complete treat! Perfect place to start our Indian adventure.

As an Indian family, I feel compelled to warn others about our experience at Fort house. What should have been a pleasant family stay turned into a humiliating ordeal during checkout. The management accused us of stealing their hotel towels, subjecting us to mortifying luggage inspection in our vehicle in front of other guests. Even after they couldn't find anything, they couldn't be bothered with basic decency to apologize. What made it more revealing was watching the same manager who checked us transform into an accommodating host for foreign guests shortly before this. I am sure this wouldn't have happened if the guests were foreigners. The experience was extremely hurtful as my son had to witness their parents being treated like criminals. Several towels were still in our room, which makes this even more absurd. To my fellow Indians planning a stay here: be prepared to be viewed with suspicion and treated as second-class citizens in your own country, regardless of how much you pay. What was meant to be a special family vacation turned into a ****** experience that was only available in foreign lands.. Our much needed family break turned out to be a nightmare that will be hard to forget.

Fort House Hotel is well located at the water’s edge. Rooms are large and clean with a large comfortable bed. The shower had ample hot water. The restaurant is very good. The setting with its beautiful gardens is calm and relaxing.!But be aware that there is currently building work taking place close by and that the sea view does take in the port for container ships.

Amazing relaxing stay at Fort Kochi. The Ayurvedic massage treatment was incredibly relaxing, highly recommend. A bit of construction was a little noisey but they also provide ear plugs which helps.

It is a very cosy 3 star experience, clean. Very friendly staff efficient and professional. The restaurant has an excellent chef, one eat very well. Beautiful terrace on the river, perfect for a romantic dinner. Also you have a good ayuveda service.
