devastating experience! Don‘t book! We head to move out into another hotel because it was that bad. For a very similar price book the paradise resort or the chill, hat’s right next to it! The picture is a bungalow in the paradise

Only stayed for one night, room was nice, staff friendly and location good. The fact it doesn’t really have a beach is fine as there are plenty right next to the hotel. Nice sunsets. Breakfast was ok but the constant Christmas music was annoying.

Lovely stay at AWA! Prime spot on Kai Bae Beach – direct access, relaxed vibe, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Stunning long pool is the star, perfect for lounging. Rooms spacious, clean, modern with comfy beds and big balconies. Staff super friendly and attentive. Breakfast good but could use more variety; beach here rocky (better nearby). Great value for a chill island escape – I’d come back!

Pros: A good value-for-money hotel. While it doesn't have a beach, it boasts many beautiful coconut trees. The facilities are standard, which is understandable given the reasonable price. Cons: We booked a sea view room precisely because of their attractive coconut trees. A month in advance, we wrote to the hotel asking for a room on a higher floor if possible. However, upon check-in, they assigned us a corner room on the first floor, which had no sea view at all and was obstructed by the corridor and plants in front! When we discussed this with the front desk, they claimed that higher floor rooms were reserved for long-stay guests. I was absolutely fuming! Our 5-day stay isn't exactly short, and we paid the same price as everyone else, so there shouldn't be such preferential treatment. We strongly suspect the hotel didn't even read our message. Only after negotiating with the front desk were we able to switch to a second-floor room on the following day. This whole experience with the front desk significantly dampened our check-in experience. Finally, a special thanks to the Trip.com customer service for patiently helping us resolve the room issue throughout.

Awa resort has everything you’ll need visiting Ko Chang, it’s located very convenient. Breakfast is good, service is super. The rooms are quite standard but you’ll not need much more. Cleaning could be a little better, nonetheless acceptable 👍

The room, swimming pool and breakfast were excellent. Many cafes nearby. The beach and sea is not good but if you in a car you can get to lonely beach for example

This a very beautiful hotel resort and offers high standard compare to others. We enjoyed our vacation there very well. But something is to complain. For this big house are not enough sunbeds at the pool area. Short after breakfast are all reserved by towles over the complete day. The breakfast times are from 7:00 till 10:30. This seems long time but it’s a vacancy hotel the guests like to sleep as long as possible. So every day at 10:00 is like a rush hour on the highway. No cups, no seats etc. because everyone try to come as late as possible. Our recommendation is give one hour more till 11:30. This gives more fun for everyone.

The hotel is in a central location and the staff are very friendly. The room itself is a bit dated and could do with more lighting in the main room but the bathroom has plenty of lights. The shower pressure isn’t the best but is hot. The bath in the bathroom could be replaced but we didn’t use it anyway I perfer a shower. Towels replaced everyday and room also cleaned everyday. The swimming pool is big but not many sun beds around the pool but there is plenty on the beach area they have below the pool. The breakfast is good and plenty of choice.

The service was really good, but the environment wasn't up to par; it definitely needs an upgrade. Staying on the ocean-facing side was a bit better. Breakfast was unappetizing. Only the lobby and pool offered good photo opportunities. Overall, the check-in experience was disappointing.

The front desk staff and room service staff are very good, friendly and efficient. Really love their service. Room, pool and breakfast were all great! The only thing we thought was not quite right was when we were given old and frayed beach towel on our last day. The chambermaid was also haphazard in leaving the amenities in different places. And she did not make up my bed. I also got 2 bites from the bed on our last night.

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Koh Chang. The only problem was there is no walkout beach! The room was nice if maybe a little dark and the balcony gave a nice view of the sunset. A very nice place to vacation! The breakfast was great! I always had seconds.
