Vayna Boutique Koh Chang

To be honest, I decided to book this hotel because I saw it on Tiktok. Those influencers’ stories and reviews were so so good that let me easily made a decision. When I checked in and walk around the hotel area, although there was a low season period, everything seemed fine like those reviews. However, the reception staff did not suggest any programs for staying there such as a spa, a fitness. Overall was fine and went well though.

I would like to tell you about restaurant in this hotel on the beach “Bamboo Vana”. It’s amazing) the owner every evening making so beautiful and romantic space for couples and families for dinner. Right on the sand near the sea. With flowers, white tablecloth and candles. The food is very delicious. Simple, clear and delicious. The owner is so kind and friendly every time)) You can choose set menu (fish/meat/seafood with some vegetables) + salatbar with soup, tai rice and fresh vegetables; or ala card. So we highly recommend this restaurant))) Thanks a lot and best regards to Cherdsak and Rin. See you next time)))

The hotel has so many faults that it’s hard to list them all.. but here goes The rooms are large but lack and things to store clothes on, other than a small wooden unit. There is loads of space yet ??? There is no hot water in bathrooms sinks ? The breakfast ‘while good’ some days was poorly managed and we visited at 9am and many items were finished … I asked the hotel to assist me in making the trip special as considered asking my gf to marry get engaged… THEY DID NOTHING I asked for assistance in a taxi to the ferry an was quoted 200 baht BUT 1hour and 45 min before arrival. For a 20 Min journey ??? WT?? There is 8 subbed with shade for a 150 person hotel ?? There are so many good hotels in Koh Chang. This now isn’t one of them

The hotel pictures look amazing and are certainly instagrammable but the quality of the rooms is not at all in line with them. The walls are terribly thin and you hear everything happening around - the hotel is popular by Russian teenagers who party loud way after midnight, it's been a nightmare to sleep properly. There are no proper curtains to have a smooth sleep, the bathroom is very limited and the infrastructure in general is terribly poor. The staff however is super friendly. Not coming again.

The construction work mentioned is minimal - did not disturb at at all in the 10 days we were there. Comfortable rooms, good location right on the beach ( the beach is used for outdoor dining in the evenings}. Lovely pool, good restaurant, only ate there once when it was pouring with rain as there are plenty of good restaurants on the beach.

Outstanding Service, Delicious Food, and Real Hospitality – Thank You, VAYNA! We didn’t stay at this hotel – unfortunately, we booked the disappointing Dewa next door. But after experiencing the poor service, awful atmosphere, and lack of service around the facilities there, we decided to spend our time and money here at VAYNA Boutique Koh Chang instead – and what a difference! From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine hospitality, amazing service, and incredible food. The staff here are on another level – friendly, professional, and clearly proud of the work they do. The drinks were absolutely top-notch, the atmosphere calm and welcoming, and the facilities were exactly what we had hoped for during our holiday. Despite not being guests at the hotel, we were welcomed with open arms and treated far better than we ever were at our actual accommodation. It honestly saved our trip. To everyone at VAYNA: THANK YOU. You gave us the experience we were looking for, and if we ever return to Koh Chang – we are staying with you, no question about it.

We came here 2 years ago and loved the resort! This was was a bit disappointing this time. We came for 2 weeks with the family and we had four rooms. The towels and sheets were so old and thin it looked really ratty. The pool chair material covers were so dirty you couldn’t sit on them or put your towel or clothes on them without it making everything dirty and breakfast was really average. In saying that the location is still amazing and we spent most of the time on the ***** of beach which was amazing for small kids. 3.5 stars. Mostly disappointed as we were so excited to come back but we won’t be back at this hotel again
