Excellent facilities. Great outdoor yoga studio and gym. Excellent pool. Nice home and close to everything. I really enjoyed my time here. The location is walking distance to bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach! Highly recommend it and I will go again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful resort built on 16000sqm. Fantastic service and great accommodation walking distance to the two best beaches of the island. A magical place to spend your holidays with kids. Great service and hospitality.

If you are coming to Koh Mak you will not regret your stay at Goodtimes Resort, its a home away from home without any negativity, a paradise, on a paradise island. I would personally recommend longer stays as the Island has so much to offer; and if you are here for whatever type of wellbeing, then there is no better place. I really like it here... the large tropical jungle that sorrounds the banglows really brings you back to nature and peace. The place represents the islands vision of health, exercise and wellbeing; facilities include a pool, gym and yoga, and with extension the use of sports facilities at Koh Mak Tennis Club (Tennis courts -Indoor & Outdoor-, table tennis, basketball and badminton). The Island also has the best Muay Thai gym for all levels of experience, and staying at this resort allows you to take advantage of discounted prices when attending these sessions. The community of this resort are so kind and welcoming, they will really take care of you and the accomadations are beautiful. Hope your visit will be as special as all mine have been.

Our apartment was very large with a balcony including a hammock. The resort is located up a little hill, but you can reach the „main road“ within 5 mins. It’s a very quiet place and a breeze cooks down the room so we never had to use the aircondition, but only the fan. Mr. Peak, the manager, is a very helpful and friendly person. You always get fresh coffee (from Chian Mai) for only 30 Baht. He also rents scooters.

A great experience on Koh Mak. The owner was the best for help, info and very accomodating and the Manager( Mr Peak) was amazing, nothing was any trouble. I stayed for one month with a Muay Thai package and it was the best experience of my life. I lost 11kg and had so much fun, I recommend highly. The trainers were very helpful as I am not a fit person but they encouraged me all the way. Koh Mak is a beautiful island with great people. I am definately going here again.

We stayed in good times resort, more precisely in villa ginger @goodtimes resort for a little more than 1 month in December/ January 2022/23. We are a family of 5 (kids: 10, 8 & 2) and had an extremely good time. The house is big and surrounded by a big garden. The pool of good times is in the area and not even a minute to walk (kids usually ran there so 20secs... ;) ) Mr Peak and the crew of the resort was very helpful and responded to all our requests as good as possible. The gym in the resort is a bit outdated, but still perfectly usable. As well, we took Thai boxing classes 3 times a week with the whole family, which was awesome! As guest of good times, you get discounts there. Villa Ginger is not located directly at the beach, but it only takes a 3min ride. Generally it usually doesn't take longer that 10 minutes to arrive anywhere on the island (from one side to the other maybe 40min in total). It is a no car (except the taxis) island - only scooter. We highly recommend to visit Koh Kham - an abandoned island with a 5min ride from Koh Mak, but the most beautiful beach! The nice thing about Koh Mak is that the island is never too full, or you never have the feeling it is. The beaches are not overbuilt and the hotels and resorts are nice and somehow restrained. Also we really loved, that it is not a "white Island", as very often seen in Asia. The guests/ tourists on Koh Mak are from everywhere, Europe, US, Thailand and Asia in general. It feels very homogeneous... Please ask the crew from Goodtimes resort for restaurant tipps -- they have a good list on where to go for the best food. (and I gotta say, restaurants on Koh Mak are really good and we are quite spoiled coming from Berlin). You can also rent motorbikes directly with Mr. Peak, the manager of the resort. We can absolutely recommend the resort and the island - although I am doubting to recommend it at all, fearing that too many people hear about it and join in.. ;)

I stayed at Good Time Resort for the second time, and this time for two months. To me, it’s a paradise garden - you’ll live in the green, surrounded by nature sounds, and can still reach a beach by walking a few minutes. The houses are very cute, and the access to a gym, pool, upstairs terrace as well as reduced rates for Yoga, Muay Thai and sports opportunities are all additional gems. The whole team is lovely, and Mr. Peak will support you with anything you need - be it help with your visa renewal or picking up packages. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Koh Mak in itself had been a pleasant experience that needs a travel blog to write about… Of the great experience we had at Koh Mak, our stay at this resort is the center piece of our ‘good times’. From the time we were picked up from the pier, we felt very welcomed. This is not a typical resort that one finds on other tourist locations, with plastic smiles as a part of their Staff SOP’s. This is a place that wants her guests feel at home and be a part of the vibrant island community. The accommodations are large and spacious and ours had a garden view of lush trees. Every morning we woke up to the music of song birds. The discount that their guests enjoys at various activities such as yoga, Muay Thai etc is another big plus! We are already planning to come back soon and stay in this beautiful place again. P.S; the owner and the resort manager were such great hosts. The owner invited us to his private party And we got introduced to some Long time stayers.

We first were gonna stay there only couple of nights, but the place was so lovely, so we stayed many nights longer. We stayed in two bedrooms house. The house was beautyful and big, and there was all the things we needed. The beds and the temperature were good. There was big windows where we could see the tropical garden. It almost felt like we are outside when we were inside. The garden was one of the best things there, it was amazing! You feel like you are in the nature there. The balcony was big. There is a short walk from the house to the pool. The pool is big and we spend lots of time there with kids. The location is good, in the middle of the island, so it's a short way to everywhere. We rented a scooter from owners, but it's also not too long walk from resort to beaches at southside and northside. There are also restaurants near. The owners were wery friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of important information and they also arranged the transport for us to Bangkok by ferry and taxi. If we come back to Ko Mak, we will definetly stay there again.
