Never managed to go as the weather was stormy and so we couldn’t get a long tailed boat there. The only way you can access the hotel is via long tail boat that costs around 400baht pp

The hotel is in a great location! The problem, however, is that to get to Haadrin you have to take a boat taxi, which costs 300 baht per person per trip. This is not negotiable at all. The trip takes 10-15 minutes. I was there with my 17-year-old daughter and would have gone to Haadrin more often if the price hadn't been so high. This is completely overpriced by Thai standards and borders on rip-off. Taxi rides are generally completely overpriced. However, if you like it quiet, this is the place for you. The food in the complex is modest in terms of choice, but there is a good restaurant next door. The staff are a bit unmotivated, but nice. I would not book this hotel again because of the expensive journey. It is not explicitly mentioned in the advert.

Very Good

Very nice room! Unfortunately you can only get there by boat, and they have no electricity, so no air conditioning at night, so it was impossible to cope with the heat.

The location of the accommodation is on Haad Yuan, quiet, giving you a feel like a private beach. Getting to the accommodation Unable to sit in the car Must take a boat from Haad Rin to come in (there will be a long-tailed boat waiting to pick you up) The boat fee is about 250-350/round). Contacting the accommodation is difficult. After booking, you must find a way to enter the accommodation by yourself. Beautiful accommodation but very old as if not being taken care of Inside the room is dusty. There are spider webs everywhere. There is electricity here for only 6 hours, 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We arrived on a long boat to a deserted little island. From what we could see nobody else was staying in the resort. We were brought to our bungalow which was very dark with a tiny window and no electricity until 6 in the evening. No Wi-Fi in the rooms and no restaurant in the resort. We lasted about 20 minutes in our room before checking out and moving to another hotel. Also it cost 100 euro a night for this room. Disgraceful is an understatement. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Sadly, this beach resort is in decline. They closed for 2 years due to covid and the place is in a poor state. The communication with the owners/managers was poor, the room was dirty with spiders and bugs in the beds, no mosquito nets, the bungalow in disrepair with the bathroom roof falling apart and debris and dirt all in the bath. I have great memories of this beach from a few years ago and the resort was popular with many families, and a great restaurant called Bamboo Huts. We took our kids here to experience a little backpacking, and knew the place only had 6hrs electricity per day and limited amenities. But this was a disaster. We ended up leaving on the day of arrival and staying at Haad Rin instead. A much better beach for families these days is Thong Nai Pan Yai. If you stay here then understand you will be roughing it, big time.

I stayed at this hotel for a night, took 2 villas with friends to see the surrounding area and stay for the party at bamboo. The hotel is certainly shabby, turnover is visible. The interior itself is interesting. The air conditioning in the room did not work well and there were ants, but it will do for 1 night. And so there are many interesting things nearby, but you will pump up your legs while you walk)
