Samet Lucky Resort

I wasn't expecting much since I only planned to sleep at the accommodation anyway, but I was surprised by how clean it was, especially being right on the beachfront. The breakfast also exceeded my expectations, so I think it's a great, clean hotel with good value for money. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the room. ㅠ

Went on a day trip to Koh Samet with friends. This hotel is close to the beach, and renting a scooter was very convenient. The value for money was decent. Breakfast was just okay, but it did have a good variety. The room wasn't big, and the bathroom facilities were average. This is understandable for an island, though. The beach is nice. It's fine for a one-night stay.

Great location. Polite staff who are helpful with tourist inquiries. Good breakfast. The sea is close by, and the hotel beach is clean.

The location is superb, right at the very end of the beach. The hotel is very run-down; it looks much better in photos. The grounds aren't pretty, and the rooms are worn out. There are sun loungers available on the beach. Breakfasts are decent; basic eggs, sausages, and vegetables are provided.

Everything was excellent! The hotel is right on the beachfront, and we stayed in a bungalow with our own pond... just beautiful. The breakfasts were good; during our stay, they had sweet and sour meat, fish with vegetables, omelets, fried eggs, various vegetables, pad Thai, and two kinds of soup. Basically, there was a lot to choose from, something for everyone's taste. The sea was like a dream, and the beach was amazing—the white sand was so fine it squeaked underfoot! In the evenings, there were fantastic fire shows. We loved everything and didn't want to leave. We'll definitely come back; it was an awesome vacation!!!

The rooms were incredibly clean and tidy, and a thoughtful touch was the sand-rinsing showerhead outside each room. It would have been perfect if the toilet seat and shower curtain in the bathroom were updated. Each room also has a private outdoor balcony right by the beach. The restaurant is also beachfront, and the breakfast selection was fantastic, including freshly brewed coffee. 👍 Enjoying breakfast while looking out at the sea was so relaxing. Excellent value for money!

The location is absolutely perfect! It's tucked away in an alley just off the main road, right in the heart of everything. Getting around, whether by songthaew or rented scooter, is super convenient. The room itself and the resort overall are definitely more on the rustic, guesthouse side. The price really reflects the prime location and the beach access. But hey, when you're on an island vacation, a great beach to relax on is what matters most, so the room can be overlooked!

Check-in was strictly on time, and check-out too – they called exactly at 11. There was a 1000 baht deposit required at check-in. Our villa, out of all the rooms, was our favorite because of its secluded location and private mini-pond. The room wasn't cramped; it had everything we needed, except for a shelf in the shower for our toiletries. The breakfasts were a bit repetitive but good; fine for a 2-3 night stay. The view at breakfast was absolutely stunning, right on the sea. The grounds, though small, were well-maintained.

Right on the beach. Everything was great. The breakfasts were delicious, they'll make you an omelet or any other type of eggs. The rooms were clean. I didn't like the hotel cafe though, the food wasn't good, so I went to the city center to eat.
