This is a Thai-style detached bungalow. I booked the family garden view room, which is essentially two connecting rooms – one with a king bed and the other with twin beds. First off, the hotel facilities are quite old. The shower water pressure is very low. Also, since it's facing the beach and has an outdoor bar and restaurant at the entrance, the music gets quite noisy at night. If you prefer quiet, don't choose this place; it will affect your rest. It's located at the very end of Ao Pai Beach, and you have to walk through another hotel to get to it after getting off the car. It's a bit difficult dragging suitcases through the sand, but it's only for a short distance. There's a 'songthaew' (local shared taxi) and a mini-mart right outside. I stayed for three nights and also tried the resort's massage, which was decent. Overall, the facilities are quite dated, and it can be noisy at night!

The beach right in front of the hotel is quite rocky, so make sure to bring water shoes.

The location are amazing and also the hotel have a lot of green area, room was so comfy even I choose the standard room however every morning some staff shouted so loudly it’s wake me up due to there is no sound proof of the hotel! If they inform staff to not shout in the morning that’s would be nice! Ah one more thing, hotel breakfast was good and yummy!

This place is very good for a short stay but more than 2 or 3 nights i think it would be too much with the same people doing the same things every day , but if you are there to do nothing , then its perfect. Nice restaurant for dinner but its a fight for seats at breakfast. Walk up the beach behind the resort and there is much more space to breathe on that beach and some nice restaurants there too.

Great bungalows, we stayed at family garden view , right on the beach , no swimming pool, not enough sun beds , you have to collect towels by urself, there is pond of dirty water (river) right beside the sunbathing area, not smelly but still dirty water going to the sea . Breakfast is nothing special but ok, beach restaurant is great , good food lots of shakes . Overall we had a great stay , probably will be back again

A decent hotel with a nice breakfast. The budget rooms are, well, budget, but all in all we had no complaints. The staff were cordial.

Nice resort, breakfast was great, good selection of food. We liked that they cooked the eggs and omelet to order. other resorts have them sitting on a tray and they are stone cold when you get them. Nice beach, we walked all the way to the other connecting beach. We had a great time, Staff are very friendly and help full. We will be back

Apart from the ants in our room, we were very happy with our stay. The hotel quickly arranged a room change for us, which was great. The hotel boasts direct beach access, making it incredibly convenient to go for a swim. The beachfront restaurants nearby were also quite good. However, we found there weren't many fish to see in the water directly in front of the hotel. I definitely recommend checking out Ao Prao Beach; the marine life there is truly plentiful!

1. **Hotel Location:** The hotel is situated on a small beach, just a short distance from Diamond Beach, which is only about a 6-7 minute walk away. The 7-Eleven on the main street is also roughly a ten-minute walk. 2. **Hotel Environment & Facilities:** The setting is lovely; it operates as a resort. I stayed in a standalone bungalow, surrounded by garden paths. It's very close to the sea; you can reach the beach within two or three minutes of stepping out of your room. However, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes on the island, so remember to take precautions against them. 3. **Hotel Service:** The service was good. The front desk staff were very patient and answered all my questions. I initially booked one night through Ctrip, then extended my stay by booking another night directly at the hotel. When I repeatedly compared online and offline prices and inquired at the front desk, the staff patiently addressed all my queries. When moving luggage, staff members will deliver it from the front desk to your room. Free towels are available at the front desk, and the row of beach loungers by the hotel's beach can be used for free. Just remember to return the towels to the front desk after use. 4. **Hotel Facilities & Hygiene:** The room has a hairdryer. I didn't use their toiletries, so I don't remember if they were provided. Hygiene was my biggest complaint. There might have been dust mites on the bed, as I was itching all over and couldn't sleep for both nights I stayed. **Additional Notes:** The hotel explicitly states they do not use MSG, and their own restaurant also refrains from using it, which offers peace of mind when dining. One evening, we considered trying a restaurant located near the hotel entrance (not affiliated with the hotel). When we asked if they used MSG, the waiter replied that they could note 'no MSG' for us 😓, which immediately scared us off, and we quickly left. Oh, and the hotel restaurant has a performance around 8 PM, but you need to tip the performers after the show.

Very good! A swimming pool and a gym would make it perfect!

It's our second time of staying at Samed Villa Resort. We think it's one of the best hotels in Koh-Samet. The staff is amazing!

It's a nice resort but needs to be refurbished. Staff are not the friendliest. Access to the resort is a little difficult. Food is really good at the restaurant
