Tubtim Resort

The location is excellent. Housekeeping is decent, done upon request, and the sea is superb. The cafe offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The grounds are nice and green. Breakfasts are okay, not a million dishes, but there's enough variety and they change daily. The detached bungalows come with all amenities and their own small terrace. The only downside is the mosquitoes and midges. We were practically eaten alive during our week-long stay, mostly by midges on the beach and mosquitoes near the bungalow. Stock up on repellents and it's best to wear long sleeves and pants in the evenings, especially if you're staying for several days. Otherwise, it's an excellent hotel; we've been to the island several times and stayed in many hotels. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Since we were traveling as a family and wanted to stay together, we ultimately chose this hotel. The service was truly excellent; the staff were very attentive and had a great attitude. We also tried the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was good and reasonably priced. In the evenings, there was a fire dance show. The hotel has a private beach with clear water and soft sand, which our kids absolutely loved. You could even see many fish in the sea. The hotel isn't on the main street, so it's about a 35-minute walk, making it quite quiet. I'd recommend renting a scooter. For going out at night, walking along the beach feels safer. Our family had a very relaxing vacation here!

The accommodation was clean, with beautiful sea views. All staff were lovely and provided excellent service. The resort also had a fire show in the evening.

Good hotel. Booked without upfront payment, paid cash on arrival. Clean, cozy, and polite staff. Breakfast isn't luxurious, but there's a good selection. The beach is excellent.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days on Koh Samet, at the Tubtim Hotel. We absolutely loved it! The hotel is really well-located. If you go right, you'll find parties, fire shows, restaurants, and shops. If you go left, you'll find peace and quiet, beauty, and serene beaches. The room had everything we needed, except for toothbrushes. The breakfasts were good, there's a coffee machine, and the coffee was even tasty, which is rare for Thailand. We had a bungalow with a sea view, and it was simply perfect!

Excellent location! The beach is fantastic! The breakfast was good with a sea view! We stayed in a standard bungalow, which was a bit dirty and old. The soundproofing was poor – we could hear coconuts falling on the roof all night and birds chirping. The grounds were a bit dismal. In the evening, we encountered two small snakes, and our child almost stepped on one, so definitely bring a flashlight and watch your step! I heard that the suites and family villas are nicer and look newer. Overall, it's budget-friendly and livable! There's also a fire show in the evening.

Cleanliness: Overall it was clean, but very old. Being in nature, it's normal to find insects and geckos. Facilities: The room was really old, not much else to say. Environment: It's very close to the beach, which is why I chose it. It wasn't crowded, mostly just guests staying there. They have their own sun umbrellas and chairs. The water was clear and the sand was fine. The hotel's own restaurant had good food, I ate there several times. There was a fire show in the evening. Breakfast buffet was good.
