Beautiful little gem! The staff are super friendly and the rooms are so big and comfortable. The pool is really beautiful as well. Very close to the airport and great, affordable restaurants and massage places nearby. The only downside for me was that the beach and sea out front aren't quite as nice as a bit further down, but it's only a 5 minute walk down the beach to get to a bit deeper waters. Still a beautiful view from the beach and at a quieter end, which I really liked, and they maintain the beachfront really well. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were incredible. Providing some of the best hospitality. Hotel it’s is great and breakfast was perfect. Location was a bit too close to the bars and clubs so depending on where your room is you can hear the music until the early hours of the morning.

One of the best locations in Chaweng, third time at the hotel and I will return, good Thai breakfast, even a choice of egg types in the morning, a pool by the sea and a clean beach, excellent service in everything and they even kept our luggage for us on the trip to Koh Tao, recommended.

My family and I recently stayed at Dara Samui Beach Resort (Adults Only), and we absolutely loved our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff were truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Special mention to Ammy and Abigail (I believe that was her name) at reception – they were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Jackson, one of the waiters, was also amazing, providing fantastic service and making our dining experiences extra special. The entire team at Dara Samui treated us like family, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. The beachfront location is stunning, offering a lovely and serene setting while still being close enough to all the attractions, shops, and restaurants without the noise and hustle. One of the highlights of our stay was the beachside dinner setup, which was beautifully arranged and created such a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious, providing the perfect blend of traditional Thai charm and modern comfort. The housekeeping team did an excellent job ensuring everything was spotless throughout our stay. We cannot recommend this hotel enough – whether you're visiting as a couple or with family, Dara Samui Beach Resort is a perfect choice for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus and adds an element of relaxation to the vacation experience. Staff: One of the standout features of the resort is its staff. They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay. Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!! Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. One memorable highlight was when staff made popsicles by hand for the guests, adding a delightful touch to the day’s activities. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at the resort is exceptional. With a wide variety of choices, both in terms of dishes and flavors, every morning feels like a new culinary adventure. The quality and taste of the food meet high standards, ensuring a delightful start to the day. Cons: Noise Levels: A significant downside to staying at Dara Samui Beach Resort, especially noted on Chaweng Beach, is the noise pollution from nearby clubs. Guests looking for a peaceful night's sleep might find the loud music, particularly the repetitive beats and booming sounds from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, to be a major disturbance. This could be a dealbreaker for light sleepers or those seeking a restful retreat. Beach and Swimming Conditions: While the beach itself is beautiful and great for daytime relaxation, the water level often remains below one meter, making it impossible to swim in the ocean. This shallow water issue is prevalent across most of Chaweng Beach and might disappoint those looking forward to ocean swimming. Conclusion: Dara Samui Beach Resort offers a fantastic adult-only experience with its excellent location, superb staff, and top-notch facilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the early morning noise and the less-than-ideal swimming conditions in the ocean. Good hotel..good price and service

Overall it feels like a 3 star hotel. Decent breakfast. The restaurant on the beach is very romantic however this requires the staff members to clear up the sunbeds about 4:30pm which is disturbing. Small pool. On the beach however the water is really shallow so you can’t really swim. Mainly polite staff members. There is also a mosquito problem so we were advised not to open the balcony doors so there is no point to have a room with a balcony if you can’t really enjoy it. Great location.

Good location and good service very good room

The hotel is amazing, the beach close is right next to the pool and hotel bar, which made it very easy to reach, plus you can order drinks to your sunbed. Hotel room was very spacious, lots of amenities and a working AC, staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Overall good, had an issue with the water quality from the bathroom taps, but got sorted soon after I reported the problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
