"This resort is in a perfect location on the southern coast of Kauai. The trade winds blow consistently to keep you cool. The beach provides great snorkeling and swimming. Our villa was in the perfect location, upper floor facing the ocean overlooking the main pool. It was very quiet except for a Minah bird on one morning. Kitchen is well equipped but we did request a non-stick pan and rice maker. Perking is underground so cars stay cool in hot Hawaiian sun. One of the best resort fitness centers we’ve been too. Lots of machines and space. We’d stay here again in another trip to Kauai"

"This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip, and also the most expensive at over $4000 a night! The environment, service, and facilities were all top-notch. Free parking and an unbeatable view were major pluses. The room came with a washing machine, dryer, electric stove, microwave, and a complete set of kitchenware and dishes. This was a wonderful surprise for us, as there really aren't many good food options on Kauai. We bought some groceries at the supermarket and cooked several meals ourselves, which was great. It saved us a lot of money and even cured our 'Chinese stomach'! If the price were closer to $1000 a night, I'd happily stay here for a whole month."

There are many swimming pools and a beach pool, but the waves are too big to swim in. The rooms are spacious, and the laundry facilities are fully equipped. Overall, a good experience. However, I wouldn't recommend coming in February, as the weather is often bad – windy and rainy."

"The room was very big. The front desk upgraded the room for my honeymoon with my husband. There was a microwave, induction cooker and washing machine and dryer in the room, so I could wash my clothes immediately after snorkeling every day. It was very convenient. In addition, I signed up for a speedboat tour in the morning. I didn't have time to eat breakfast in the hotel, so I quickly made a meal in the room. Behind the hotel is the famous sunset wall where you can watch the sunset. The only regret is that I saw a dead big cockroach in the room on the last day of my stay..."

"I booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom room. The room was very big. The bed in the master bedroom was very big, and the other room had two single beds. One bathroom was very big. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was not much to eat near the hotel, so it was good to stay here, suitable for families who want to cook. There was only one supermarket, Big Save, nearby. But I had to ask not to stay on the first floor when I checked in. At first, I was given a first floor. Because the sound insulation in the room was too poor, I could hear the footsteps on the second floor very clearly. I didn't sleep well all night. I moved to the third floor, the highest floor. The swimming pool was not bad, and you can walk directly to the beach from there."

"This was my husband’s first trip to Hawaii, so I wanted a relaxing, romantic getaway in an oceanfront condo. Luckily, I found Whaler’s Cove! As soon as we arrived Marianne, and the rest of the staff, made us feel like family recommending local sites and snorkeling cruises. The condo was spacious and clean, with a full-size kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Our back slider opened to a lawn with remarkable sunset and sunrise views. The beds were comfortable and the sound of waves crashing outside our door was spectacular. It is in a perfect location close to: Poipu Beach where large sea turtles beach nightly; a variety of restaurants and shops less than a 10-minute easy, safe walk away; and close to snorkeling. Thank you, Marianne we will be back, A Hui Hou!! (OK, I had to look that up, “Until we meet again!)"
