Royal Camping Club is a fantastic retreat surrounded by lush greenery, far from city life. The hospitality is warm and makes you feel at home. The organic food is delicious, and the staff is prompt and attentive. Unique activities like a private waterfall, sunset point, and jeep safaris add to the experience. Trekking around the property in jungle cottages lets you truly connect with nature. For a peaceful, crowd-free getaway, this place is perfect. I’d rate it a 5 out of 5.

I recently visited this beautiful British theme resort in Mathgaon, near Kolhapur. The resort is surrounded by 400 acres of forest and 3 forts namely Rangna, Manohar -Santosh & Bhudargad. The owner belongs to the Royal Family of Kolhapur. It was a one-of-a-kind experience for me because they provided the most luxurious experience without taking away the rustic & authentic vibes of the place. Have you ever thought of having a dine-in in the middle of the forest? Probably in your dreams right? Well, then I've just lived my dream while I was at this place. I was awestruck having lunching experience in the stream surrounded by dense forest. They served a variety of food options there in both veg and non-veg. Authentic kolhapuri dishes with a bit of twist. Our hosts Manjeet & Shivani are very hardworking and enthusiastic people and great storytellers as well. Manjeet having expertise in Food & Hospitality industry, always try and experiment and come up with innovative ideas to serve his guests. If you are traveling with small groups or couples they make sure that you get this experience as an individual as if this whole property is just for you. The vision of the Royal Camping club is to provide the perfect staycation option while preserving the environment and giving back to mother nature in whichever way possible. I would highly recommend this place to all who are looking for a weekend gateway or staycation option near Pune, Mumbai, Kolhapur & Surroundings. Highlights: 1.
