The rooms are small but nice, newly refurbished (it's April 2022), cleanliness could be improved (I found several long dark hairs on my bed), the area is nice with lots of green, walking distance to the Thermal Baths Constance and to the lake, but the breakfast was so bad, it impacted the whole experience. The breakfast staff were uncoordinated, things were constantly unavailable, the staff had to be reminded to refill, the food was low quality, the coffee machine constantly busy or empty. We were told the situation is better on weekends so maybe avoid staying there during the week.

We stayed in 6 different hotels while in Germany. Waldhaus Jakob was the best and the least expensive of them all. We were upgraded to a room in the new section. Large room with a porch. The bathroom was cleverly designed into 3 sections, sink, toilet, shower. Breakfast was wonderful. In the old section of the hotel which is charming. The hotel is in the middle of a forest area on the lake. It was a 30 minute walk to the ferry to Meersburg. There is free parking at the hotel and a bus stop across the street if you want to go into town

Sono stato in questo hotel per una notte con la mia ragazza in occasione di una giornata a Costanza. La struttura si trova sul lago ed è poco fuori dal centro cittadino. All'esterno è presente un ampio parcheggio gratuito per i clienti e una fermata del bus. La camera era spaziosa e arredata con tutto il necessario. Dato che eravamo in una residenza storica non era presente l'aria condizionata ma un ventilatore. Tutta l'area è molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Soggiornando qui e pagando la tassa di soggiorno si ha diritto a un biglietto giornaliero per i mezzi pubblici cittadini. È presente anche un ristorante per chi non volesse spostarsi. I prezzi sono onesti e allineati all'offerta.

Wunderbar 😀👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻! Grosse Suite mit Aussicht auf den Bodensee- ruhiges Zimmer direkt am Waldrand. Leckeres Essen im Waldhaus und freundliches Personal! Wir kommen wieder- sehr zu empfehlen! Lange Spaziergänge am See möglich und im Wald.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in questo hotel sul Lago di Costanza , vicinissimo alle Therme omonime. La camera era molto ampia e confortevole, con servizio di pulizia quotidiano molto attento. Vista la posizione vicino al Lago ma a qualche fermata di bus( con un biglietto che viene dato gratuitamente al check in) dal centro .abbiamo opzionato anche la colazione e usufruito della cena nel ristorante interno all'hotel. Tutto molto buono . Consigliato per qualche giorno di relax sul Lago.

L’hôtel est très sympa et les animaux de compagnies y sont acceptés, pour cela que nous l’avons choisi. Le petit déjeuner est correct ! Le seul point négatif le parking qui lui est minuscule et parfois des places réservées au clients, pas de place dans les alentours.

Ich habe nahe Konstanz einen Kurs besucht und während dieser Zeit 4 Nächte im neuen Teil dieses Hotels verbracht. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und hochwertig gestaltet. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage gleich neben der Therme, dem See und einer Bushaltestelle in die Stadt ideal und idyllisch. Die PP gratis. Einzig ein Fitnessraum fehlt. Ich komme wieder.

Wir haben im Restaurant eine Pizza, einmal Zander und 2 Fitnessteller bei freundlicher Bedienung bestellt Die Pizza kam schnell und war gut. Nach ca. 40 Minuten kam der Fisch. Das Gemüse unter den Kartoffeln war in Fett getränkt und verkocht!! Die Fitnessteller wurden dann auch mal gebracht und waren ok. Es ist unmöglich, wenn der eine Gast das Essen bereits verdaut hat und die anderen müssen solange auf ihr Essen warten.

Das Hotel liegt oberhalb der Bodensee-Therme und neben dem Bodensee-Stadion in Konstanz. Es sind ausreichend Fahrrad-Unterstell-Plätze und Parkplätze vorhanden, diese kann man bei Ausbuchung des Hotels nur an den gebuchten Tagen nutzen. Ansonsten bietet sich das nahe gelegene Parkhaus der Bodensee-Therme für 6 Euro/Tag an. Seit 2 Jahren ist nun ein Neubau mit über 70 Betten dazu gekommen, der architektonisch modern ist, durch die Holzverkleidung jedoch wunderbar zum historischen Gebäude des ursprünglichen Waldhauses passt. Der Empfang ist professionell, die Zimmer sehr schick, modern, großzügig, praktisch und leise. Vom Balkon in den oberen Etagen hat man einen wunderbaren Seeblick. Das Frühstück wurde zu 2 verschiedenen Zeiträumen angeboten und ist o.K. , vom Stau an den Kaffeemaschinen und dem angerührten Rührei im Warmhaltegefäß mal abgesehen. Das Hotel war aufgrund eines Tote-Hosen-Konzerts im Stadion komplett ausgebucht! Ein schöner Biergarten, in dem wir jedoch nichts gegessen haben. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 10 Minuten in der Altstadt und in 15 Minuten auf der Mainau. Wir waren vor 6 Jahren schon mal hier, damals im alten Nebenhaus, auch dort haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Der Neubau ist eine absolute Steigerung.
