Sandy Villas Resort

When you arrive at Sandy Villas it’s a really pretty entrance with lovely welcoming staff. We were very lucky to get a free upgrade from a swim up pool to a villa with private pool, as it was my birthday. Villas are beautiful and having your own private pool is a really lovely touch. Would highly recommend these as it’s very luxurious. The ground are very pretty and all areas are very clean and tidy. For some reason there are frogs here and they do jump in the pool. I’m fine with frogs so it didn’t bother us but if you don’t like them then it’s better to be aware of this. The pool bar and lobby bar are nice and the staff can’t do enough for you. We went high season (Aug) so this holiday worked out expensive for what it was £7,600 for 3 adults. This isn’t a 4plus resort, the food selection is poor for the value. It was so repetitive that sometime I just couldn’t deal with having same dinner as my lunch. You can also book 2 restaurants that are on the complex for dinner. Wow don’t even bother as the food is like slops and we had to politely walk out because it was that bad. I’ve been to many 4plus hotels so I could see a big difference between other 4plus resorts food variety. To top it off you have to pay extra for what I would class as a classic cocktail (piña colada) so on top of the £7,600 we had a drinks bill when checking out. To sum up our holiday we would have breakfast and lunch at the hotel and chose to go out and pay extra for dinner which added another thousand pounds or so to the holiday cost. Which I know was our choice but it made the holiday thats much better. If you could do a B&B at this resort for a reasonable price then I would 100% return. The accommodation is beautiful it’s just the food that lets it down for the value of money you pa. You are close to beautiful restaurant and bars so you have everything nearby. This hotel is no way worth £2,500pp+ for 11nights our hotel ended up costing a total of just over £8,600 and felt like a total rip off.

A very enjoyable, relaxed holiday in June - July 2024. We stayed here for 10 nights in one of the upgraded swim up rooms in then known "Kairaba Sandy Villas - Adults Only". Our initial impressions weren't amazing due to me confirming with the hotel on numerous occasions that our room type was booked correctly, then to turn up to the hotel with a dreaded "room upgrade" which we were trying to avoid upon checking in. When making our way to the upgraded room which we did not want, the shared pool with the next exec room was disgusting. Seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned in forever, although the room itself was spotless - very strange! We even had frog guests in the pool that night. After calling through to reception twice and even walking back over, they were adamant that they could not provide us the swim up room in which we paid for until the morning due to Housekeeping not being able to confirm the occupied rooms which I knew was 100% incorrect and made up information. Regardless, we awaited until morning and finally got our much needed swim up room which was a lovely room and had great light morning and day coming into the room and the patio area. Our room was always spotless cleaned thoroughly everyday by housekeepers and the mini bar wad replenished daily with our choice of drinks for free. It was great to have the choice between the swim up pool, the main pool and the adults only beach swim up pool every day. Drinks were always great although as expected, you do pay more for the cocktails that aren't on the menu as well as premium/international spirits. Food was OK, some days and nights were better than others for options but there was such a range to choose from that neither me or my partner went hungry. Amazing service from the guys with the buggy, if you need picking up from your room then you could dial reception and request pick up to go to the beach/shops or even to the restaurant if you were feeling super lazy. The drivers were happy to do this regardless but a nice tip was highly appreciated by them on many occasions! You could really tell the difference between the sister hotel and the adults only although we would have returned, it's extremely sad to hear that they will no longer be adults only going forward! All the staff were amazing at this hotel and it's honestly so sad to hear what has happened since the company went bust while we were there, I hope some of them stayed and are doing well. The beach at this resort is a lovely place to spend the day, plenty of water activities to do too, we chose Jet Skis and a boat trip while we were there. The town is only 2 minutes down the road from the beach too, with many little bars, restaurants and little shops. Highly recommend the sports bars which were great to watch England play while we were there! Overall a very lovely experience, net some lovely people while we were there and it's sad to say that we won't be returning only for the reason that it is no longer adult

We are just about to leave this beautiful resort after an amazing 10 night all inclusive stay. I have to say that Sandy Villas has made us fall in love with Corfu. We couldn’t have picked a more idyllic place to stay and it was exactly what we were hoping for - relaxing, peaceful, beautiful accommodation and fantastic facilities. With a beautiful coastal resort of shops, tavernas and restaurants just a golf buggy journey away. Sandy Villas can boast of their great service too all importantly and the staff here really do make the resort extra special and memorable! We got to know Christos who drives the golf buggy well as we went down to the beach/beach pool on a daily basis and he was always there with a smile and often singing along to songs he played on his radio! He is a credit to Sandy Villas and is the epitome of delivering fantastic customer service with a smile, always going above and beyond for all guests! All bar staff at both pools were fantastic too, unfortunately we didn’t catch all their names but a couple to mention are Spiro and Nicoletta from Mare (beach pool.) The only thing I would add that could be improved is to please include pina coladas and daiquiris in the all inclusive, they are my favourite cocktails and it was a shame we had to pay a small additional cost each time! Thank you so much Sandy Villas for a fantastic holiday, we will miss everything about this place and hope to come back to visit again one day!

We went to Sandy villas for our first family all adult holiday (with 2 sons aged 18 and 21). Wow. It was so comfortable. The first night I was worried as we arrived early hours of morning and our hotel door was covered in mozzies.. these were all dead on the floor every morning and cleaned by staff. Actually despite worrying we had no bites at all over the holiday. Rooms very large and comfortable and air con works really well. Balcony’s are lovely. Wish we could have afforded a swim up pool as they looked lovely! Restaurant was calm, full of tasty food and no queues. Lots of choice, and I’m veggie. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sunbeds plentiful- never an issue. Hotel cocktail list for all inclusive was a bit rubbish. We paid for some cocktails (4€) but this was minor. At the beach, there is an area for Sandy villas with comfy sunbeds and staff offering drinks. We also liked the swim up bar next to Beach. We had a couples massge- this was really nice. They do come round and give you offers. We walked into the village and booked trips through one of the agents there- to Corfu town and boat trip to Antipaxos. Both great. Overall, it was a lovely chilled restful holiday with comfortable rooms. If you want busy entertainment, this is not the place for you! We loved the family time.

Had a lovely suite with our own large patio and swim up pool. Staff very friendly and helpful, food varied, good selection. Had a very relaxing holiday which is what we were looking for. Fridge was replenished every morning and plenty of water was provided as it was quite warm.

This is a beautiful hotel. The room was well appointed with lovely pool , staff couldn't do enough for you and were super friendly and attentive,and the food and drink was fantastic. Location couldn't of been better with even a golf cart to take you the short journey to the beach.
