Good and very nice hotel. It had everything a hotel needs and the only thing that was minus was the price for drinks (water included) during dinner (free water during breakfast). The other thing that was bad was the fee for using the gym and doing some of the activites. The reason for this 5 stars comes from the animation team and their effort. Everyday they were very active and was always supportive, happy and nice. They had acitivities everyday and made the atmosphere in the hotel really good and included everyone. Most of the activites also got free when they were hosted by the animation team.

I cannot recommend this hotel. I would never stay at this hotel ever again or send any of my family or friends there. The Lagas family who own and run the hotel and their staff throughout the hotel, were the rudest most unwelcoming certainly not customer focused I've ever experienced on holidays, it put me off going to kos ever again. The restaurant experience, the poolside experience, the bar experience, our room experience, there is too much to write about, just don't waste your money staying here you will regret it, especially a family with kids, I never write reviews but I see tui are still selling this holiday, I booked it last minute last July and chose the hotel because of the half board, which was an absolute let down for my family. People who have stayed at this hotel will know what I am talking about regarding the rudest most unobliging staff ever at a holiday resort. We stayed for 2 weeks, couldn't wait to leave the hotel.

We visited this hotel October 2024 with myself, my partner and our 1 year old son. I tried to be open minded as saw mixed reviews before booking, but mostly good. Check-in was relatively straightforward, collected our key and taken to our room and luggage with help which was great. We arrived in our room to discover two things. Firstly, a nesting hornet in the curtains. The curtains look like they've never been cleaned. Secondly, my biggest surprise was the shared balcony. I stepped out onto the balcony to see two sets of tables and chairs and access via another door. I was not happy about this, especially with a young child and safe guarding issues. Additionally, I don't particularly want to share my private space with a stranger, I don't think that requires justification. it wasn't advertised and would not have selected the room had it been advertised that way. I called to reception and they said they would sort it the following morning. I explained that I needed it sorted today and our holiday is only finite. I walked down to reception and explained I would wait for their manager. The manager did come and help, but under bated breath. He was huffing and rolling his eyes in discontent with my complaints. He reluctantly said I could have another room, I thought I would go and check it out before agreeing. It was right at the top of the complex, and would have been beautiful if I didn't have a pushchair and a young child that falls over his own feet. There were so many hazards including steeps steps which didn't work. I went back to down reception and asked for a different room due to the unsuitability. The manager was even more unimpressed by presence at this point, but after paying a lot of money and looking forward to this holiday for a long time, it would be the way it was advertised (not shared communal spaces, and not a hazard for my son). There was further signs of nesting hornets in our new room, but didn't say anything further as just wanted to get on with the holiday. The positive of the room I would say is the views of the grounds, the grounds are nicely maintained and it is nice to look at from the balcony (non-shared). We went down to the beach, which is actually pretty lovely, albeit narrow and close to the road. It's full of fish and a lady told us she saw an octopus. You have to pay for beds, we just sat under the cool of the trees. I would also like to warn that near the orange floatations in the sea, there are jelly fish larvae. We were not sure what it was at first, as they both came up in a large hive rash and sting sensation. Both my son and my partner got stung quite badly and had upset stomachs. My partner is still using steroid cream 3 weeks on! I quite enjoyed the beach and there were refreshments available from the little hut down on the beach (part of the hotel). My next criticism relates to the staff and the food. I read all the reviews and went to this hotel with a really open mind, but the staff are VERY rude. Ther

After having many disappointments holidaying in Spain. Went here 2yrs ago and fell in love with the place. We were there 2days last September and we booked to come back September 2025. Can't wait. Worse part about the resort is we have to come home. Love it...

Lagas Aegean Village - Disappointing and unpleasant. I stayed in Lagas Aegean Village in June 2024 and definitely would not stay there again. The TUI rooms are all on the ground floor and have no view to enjoy other than the opposite row of rooms and the balcony space is very small and not really useable. I was very disappointed and really annoyed to find that despite having already paid to stay in the hotel, there is an additional daily charge to sit on the beach and use the umbrellas and loungers. Really ? when I have paid to stay in the hotel. Really ? what a rip off. The food in the hotel restaurant was awful. In Greece ! If you like cheap ultra processed food this is the place for you. There was very little choice, every evening there was pasta and more pasta on offer, and an abundance of stodgy bland food. Really disappointing. I was also disgusted at being forced to pay rip off prices for drinks in the restaurant, all of which were at least three times the cost elsewhere. Only large bottles of water were sold which meant that as a single guest I had to waste money every evening on a big bottle of water that I didn’t want or need. There was an unpleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, various members of staff were stationed to watch guests and their main purpose seemed to be surveillance to make sure everyone spent the maximum amount on drinks, again, like with the beach, in addition to already having paid the hotel for an evening meal. The waiter on the first evening did not explain the system for payment for drinks to me, nor did he provide me with a bill to pay. I was made to feel like a criminal when I left the restaurant and was really upset at the way that I was treated. All in a really crap experience. So yep, I wont stay at this hotel ever again. It looks lovely on the adverts but was an all round disappointing experience. The money grabbing ethos and the penny pinching management of this hotel made my stay unpleasant and disappointing.

️ This place is perfect for a family holiday. Highly recommend to families and friends. ‍I read the reviews about the staff - I disagree with previous comments as every staff member is attentive, kind and respectful to all guests. It is always a pleasure to come to the restaurant, pool and main bars, ride a bus and talk to the friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Entertainment team is also great - leading stretching and aqua gym in the day and live singing, dancing, and bingo night in the evening! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Extra beds are available upon request. The pool is large, refreshing and clean and there are always enough sunbeds for everyone. We rented a car for the day from a desk in the hotel lobby - very convenient. ☀️ Highly recommend this place and I’m very grateful to Angela and all the staff for their attention to guests, comfort, activities, kindness and hospitality!!!! We shall be back again and again!

We have just come back from a lovely, 9 night stay at Lagas Aegean Village and couldn't recommend it more. The hotel is very pretty and the rooms all have sea views, we also had a proper double bed (not 2 pushed together), and found it very comfortable. The pool is large and there were always plenty of sunbeds, even if spending the morning at the beach and going to the pool for the afternoon. The shoreline is rocky so good for snorkelling, but the beach is sandy so ideal for sunbathing. A highlight for us was the restaurant! You are greeted at the entrance and directed to a table. I think they seat you in the same area, so you have the same waiter each day, which we thought was nice. The waiter goes around serving tea and coffee in the morning and takes your drinks order on an evening. The food was honestly excellent! Lots of fresh fruits, salads, bread baked on site, fish, meats, pasta, cooked vegetables, moussaka, spanakopita, baklava! It's very well run, so I never saw plates stacking up on tables or trays of food on the self-serve counters empty. It was also nice to not see people wasting food as is typical on summer package holidays. The whole dining experience just felt a bit more elegant and special :) Also to add, we found the staff across the whole of the hotel friendly. We spoke to a few other visitors while here and all had visited multiple times before. We have never been to the same hotel twice, but would come again. All in all, a very nice, quiet hotel with lovely food and a nice quiet section of beach, perfect for a relaxing break :)

Lovely hotel with nice views from room . Room was spotless and cleaned daily. The staff were lovely and attentive. Food was very good with plenty to choose from. Bus stop outside with bus into Kardamena and Kos town. We had no complaints and would definitely return.
