Smaragdi Kos Hotel

Clean and beautiful hotel. Staff are all lovely. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Every room has a balcony and the swimming pool was very nice. Good variety of breakfast choices. The hotel is on the smaller side which is nice as it is never over crowded and always a space by the pool. The only thing I didn’t like was there is quite a loud club next to the hotel which you can hear from your rooms ( isn’t on every night tho ) and it is a good 25 minute walk into Kos town. But we found electric scooters near to ride in which was much better and quick.

Just returned from staying at this wonderful hotel and will definitely be returning. Rooms are spacious, and we were lucky to have a downstairs room, which had 2 separate bedrooms, each with balcony. Comfortable beds, air con, hairdryer, and mini fridge and very clean. Great pool area, plenty of sunbeds and nice bar where food and drink is very reasonable. Staff are all lovely and very friendly and helpful. Hired bikes and went on boat trip which we booked independently. Fabulous holiday.

We stayed for a week at smaragdi Kos. Beautifully renovations and beautiful gardens and surroundings within the grounds. The pool area was relaxing and clean. We never had to fight for a sunbed and there were sunbeds available all day. We booked for three adults. We were expecting a double and a single in one room but were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves staying in a double room suite - each room having its own terrace/balcony. We were on the bottom floor but this was perfect as it still felt like a balcony/ private space. The rooms were spacious and clean. Cleaners came daily and the air conditioning was perfect and easy to use. There were plenty of plugs and a hairdryer, towels, beach/pool towels, shower gel, coffee facilities and a safe. We are late 20s and quite enjoyed some background music in the evenings from the pool club next door but I can imagine this may be off putting for people wanting to relax. The hotel is around 9 minute walk to lambi beach and 5 minutes from a large supermarket where we were able to get supplies for lunch and store them in the fridge in the room. We were able to hire a car from outside the hotel for €60 for the day which was great to see the island. We were also able to hire a bike from the bike shop 100m down the road for 4€ per day which was great. It is a 30 m walk or 5m bike ride to Kos town. We were used to this after a few days. There are a few local bars on the main road also. This might put others off but perfect for people who like to get some steps in! Staff were helpful and kind. They wend above and beyond. breakfast was small but plentiful, for a small hotel of less than 100 guests there was enough choice each day. Don’t sleep on this place! Great price for a fantastic hub for exploring Kos!

Amazingly clean and friendly modern hotel. Spent a week in a pool view room, and enjoyed simple but varied breakfast every day, lovely pool days and very attentive staff , food was freshly prepared upon every order and very well presented (hats off to the chef), and the two young ladies who served breakfast refreshments and cleaned tables were lovely and polite and professional. Our flight home got cancelled, so Emilia (lovely receptionist) arranged for us to stay another 3 nights at a discounted price and ensured we were comfortable and stress free. The lad who ran the bar most evenings was so friendly and I simply have no complaints and many compliments about this hotel. Kos generally has a lot of litter and run down buildings - but the beaches are lovely and the people so incredibly friendly and accommodating. Smaragdi Kos hotel did not disappoint! The fires broke out an hour away from us and the peoples compassion in Kos was not lost on us. Highly recommend Kos and the Smaragdi hotel.

Great little hotel, from check in to check out, everything was perfect. The room, pool, and bar area were spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful . It was a 20 minute walk into Kos town, and about 15 minutes to Lambi beach. Breakfast was good with a selection of cold meats and cheeses or bacon, eggs, etc. The pool area was very quiet so there was no mad rush for sun beds. A perfect base to explore Kos from.

We stayed at this hotel during a trip touring Kos. On arrival at the lady at reception was super friendly and check in was swift. We were shown to our room which was a modern, clean room. The hotel has a good, clean pool and there is a lovely bar area. The hotel has a good relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good with good variety and service. The hotel is located away from the busy streets but walking distance of Kos town. Would recommend
