Blue Lagoon Resort - All Inclusive

an incredible hotel, ignore bad reviews. 10/10 recommend! very large hotel to say the least, make sure to check out the á la carte restaurants. music by big pool and activities for all age range and crepes served fresh all day. the staff were all lovely and welcoming, along with the entertainment team. make sure to check out steve’s bikes located next to hotel (a brilliant day out) water slides for any age, good variety breakfast. great location 2 minutes to bus stop for a 5/10 minute journey into town centre. beach can be a sun trap but sun brolly by every sunbed. nearby a shop (maria’s supermarket) which was amazing and very friendly with good prices with wide range of greek snacks or ice creams. rooms very spacious and good working air con. always a place to store luggage on the last day behind reception in a room which was always secure. also weighing scales by reception to weigh your bags before you leave for the airport. when we got there at around 12/1am greek time we were escorted on a golf buggy to our room, where the member of staff would take our bags for us all the way up the stairs! food was also available such a rolls with cheese, ham, all sorts. was very sad to say goodbye until next time! definitely needed more than a week to explore the whole resort and various pools/bars. definitely a value for money as a couple in their 20s who went at the end of september. oh yes, and in terms of racing to reserve sunbeds, you definitely don’t need to as the pool side in huge ! around the big main pool. presume the same around the others but never wanted to leave due to the chill friendly vibe. it was good as well to mix it up and go into the town for food, an amazing restaurant we would 10000% recommend is called AIGLI brilliant greek gyros and a very welcoming atmosphere.SOOOO many adorable cats around the resort, so friendly too! And to add on another brilliant day location is MYLOS beach bar, about 10 minutes down from the hotel! The vibe was amazing and food was sensational!

We visited Blue Lagoon Resort May 2025, we arrived quite late and got checked in fairly quickly and got driven to our room on a buggy. The room it is slightly dated in room decor but had all the amenities we needed, hair dryer, mini fridge with water and for two people we got three single beds with two pushed together. Location of the resort is pretty good with a beach just across the road with beds for hotel guests, lovely sunset in the evening. Only a short bike ride down to Kos, with bike rentals at Steve bikes. Food was okay, the buffet had a lot of options e.g gyros, pasta, pizza, salad, grilled meats to choose from and had a nice fresh grill section but the other food could sometimes be cold. The Chinese restaurant was okay, service was great and nice to have a sit down meal and starters were nice but could improve some main meal options. The Italian a la carte was nice but could do with more starter options, main meals were tasty. The Greek restaurant was a buffet and was fairly similar to the normal buffet so would have preferred it to be an a la carte. If you are a couple with no kids would recommend going to the adults only pool was peaceful and relaxed. Mike from the pool bar was super attentive and came round getting everyone drinks by the pool all day! Best thing we did of the holiday was the beach buggy we rented from Steve bikes on the resort grounds. They gave us a map with a suggestion of places to visit and we were able to drive across the whole island, definitely a must do in Kos Island!

A brilliant hotel. So many variety of pools for all ages, including splash parks, slides for older children, pirate ships and slides for younger children or adults only pools. We enjoyed our week long stay with our two young children age 3 & 4. Fab restaurants. So much to do, basketball, football, tennis courts and crazy golf. The hotel cleanliness was 5 star, along with the beautiful gardens. All staff was friendly and we had an amazing holiday. Beautiful sunsets on the beach also. We would recommend.

We arrived 3:00 on the 7-8th may I had my little one with me check in was fast and quick and there was food provided due to the time we got here. We were told a biggie would take us to our room if we waited. 1h later we were still waiting as there was only one person working. We arrived at our room what was clean and tidy with cold water in the fridge provided. The first day we went for breakfast this was a let down due to the variety of food not been nice most things were cold bean were hard and not cooked mushrooms were also hard. This continued for the breakfast the hole holiday unfortunately. There was a lovely crepe station that was lovely and cooked fresh. We visited each “à la carte restaurant” again the food was poor italian we received our starter and no mains or dessert, Chinese was awful. most days we had to eat out especially for breakfast and dinner. Our last night was the worst we had raw chicken potatoes weren’t cooked. Hats off to the entertainment team as they were fantastic shame the food was poor and unfortunately we wouldn’t return due to the amount of money we had to spend eating out. Bedrooms were clean every day staff were all polite, kind and friendly.

The overall holiday was excellent with lovely pools in various places over the resort, offering something for everyone depending on what you are looking for. The staff are all so friendly and the cleaners are brilliant. Food wasn't anything special in my opinion but was still nice enough with choice. We had room issues to begin with which was very frustrating. Booked the "recommended" room trough tui which was so basic and small that it was depressing, with a toddler this was not ideal. Eventually spoke to a tui representative "Ina" who was wonderful and managed to argue our room case with the manager. We did pay an upgrade fee but that was fine as we had a wonderful room after with so much more space and a 2nd bedroom where my son could actually sleep without sharing a double bed with mum and dad! Honestly this place is wonderful but be careful with the rooms chosen. Standard is fine for 2 people, anymore than that and you definately need a "2 bedroom" annex of family suite for comfort.

We were at the Blue Bay Resort hotel in KOS, we have been hear for a week in May 2025, The entertainment team are fantastic, always around the pool, loads of activities for everybody, The enthusiasm they bring to the day is fantastic, Having done jobs during the day, they have the kiddy entertainment, but most of all, The Showe's they have put on have been WOW, you can not fault the team, A big thank you to all of you, you have made our holiday excellant, Keep up the excellant work
