Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites

The room and beach was really nice. The bar staff were very rude and constantly gave out to one bartender very publicly. We told the management about the bullying one particular bartender was getting and the next day the bar staff were told we were the ones who complained and were asked by the staff why we complained about them. This is not acceptable for a hotel for this standard. The room is lovely but it is not worth dealing with rude staff.

Within 15 minutes from airport we arrive, to be greated by Vivi, from start to finish Vivi was wonderful, Which continued through all staff, from bar, restuarant, beach and cleaners. Everyone was great, considering it was the end of the season they all smiled and helped in every way. Drinks and food were lovely in the hotel and on the beach, all day long. Complete with singing, on the morning of my partners birthday, with cake, candle and bubbles. We had a pool room and then sea room (moved for birthday) both rooms were clean, comfy and relaxing. Thank you EVERYONE for making a holiday and birthday rememberable for me and my partner, we will defiantly be back.

We are just back from a lovely holiday in Kardamena at the Cabanu Blu hotel and spa. We can highly recommend a stay here. Exceptionally clean and modern hotel. The hotel room was lovely and again clean and modern we had a side sea view and if up early enough you can watch the sun rising across the sea I think a full facing sea view room would be amazing The staff were very friendly in fact the the whole resort was very friendly and we always felt safe there We only sat round the pool once as sun beds in the sun were mostly taken but had no problem getting a bed by the sea. I have to say the pool and bar by the pool look incredible. Just sat having a drink by the pool at the end of the day just so relaxing the whole pool area looks stunning The food was good the service good we are sad to have to come home and are already looking to book again for next October we were so impressed. We went on only one excursion and that was to a volcanic island of Nisyros An hours boat trip. The boat trip was lovely. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s October but the sea just seems to shimmer all the time. A coach then takes you to the volcano then a few hours in an absolutely delightful Greek Village. Tiny little streets in a totally white washed village with a monastery on top Again very friendly people and plenty of Tavernas and Restaurants. We sat in a Taverna overlooking the sea which was so dark blue, and enjoyed a few drinks waiting for the boat back absolutely lovely. Like I say we are looking at booking for next year that’s how much me loved it. We met a couple on the beach that had come to this resort every year this was their 35th year. This hotel is simply excellent. Facilities location and such friendly staff. Service with a smile always. Vivi guest relations had the warmest personality and brightened our day. Thank you to all staff and especially in the restaurant. Being an older couple we felt well cared for!Thank you! See you again!

Came back from Cabana Blu last week and I loved my time there so much. The hotel is beautiful and is less than a minute from the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and lovely. They were very kind and attentive. Vivi the Guest Relations Manager is great and so is the reception staff. I forgot the lady’s name on reception but she was extremely helpful and kind, she printed off some tickets for me and recommended where to buy some local produce for my friends and family. I also received some wine and dessert up to my room which was a fabulous surprise. The food was great, there was a lot of choice. I dined at the Mediterranean restaurant and I was extremely impressed. I’m still thinking about the risotto to this day! It was exquisite. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone, I went as a solo traveller and I had a lot of fun. ♥️✨

We arrived mid afternoon after a very early flight and were greeted at reception, had to wait until 3pm for our room,we left our luggage and headed across the street to pass the hour in a local bar in front of the beautiful sea. On arriving back at the hotel, we were given our room card, I had paid extra for a side sea view and casually mentioned this, the lady looked at me and said ‘no, we don’t have that on your booking’ . I persevered and showed her the booking with it clearly stating this, she said they didn’t have any but maybe we could change rooms in a few days? NOT GREAT ! As other reviews have said it has a very visually stunning interior, and very clean. The restaurant wqs again kept clean and the waiters and waitresses worked very hard and were always smiling but the food had a lot to be desired …same pizza, pork or chicken , chips , fish, always lukewarm , never hot..the breakfast and salads were the best bit…wine was awful, and some cocktails were so syrupy and sweet. The sun beds or shade beds at the hotel we only used in the evening as there was never enough seating near the bar. The beach sun beds , well, you had to get up at 7-7.30 am to get one of those, the beach was dirty but the sea love.y and clear..the beach service was ok, and the beach bar the nicest place, lovely cocktail there with a lovely lady making them. We only stayed five nights and that was about enough, I hastened to add that we got our side sea view for three of the five nights, but, Vivi made me feel that it was something wonderful that they done for us, rather than just what we should have had in the first place. Also chatting to other guests, the same thing had happened to them and one couple even had to stay at their sister hotel not the one that they had booked. Would I go back? No .
