"Excellent experience overall. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and friendly, always ready to answer any questions. The shuttle bus was quite new and very comfortable. The room was Western-style and a good size. The onsen (hot spring) had no discernible smell, and my skin felt lovely after bathing. The location is fantastic, with the lake view and the hotel's large lawn complementing each other perfectly. We also signed up for the hotel's 6 AM boat tour, which was very interesting. It would be a good idea to bring a real-time translator if you have one, as you can learn a lot about Lake Towada."

"A small hotel, 7 or 8 minutes walk from Towada Lake Jr Bus Station. We chose this place for hiking in Oirase Gorge because there are many people during the autumn leaf season and few hotel options. There are breakfast and dinner options here."

"グルーブ系列のホテルなので期待していましたが見事に裏切られました。 ツインの洋室のお部屋を予約しましたが、部屋は狭くかつ設備が少なくビジネスホテルクラスでした。ベッドは小さく175cm以上の身長のかたは窮屈な思いをするでしょう。 従業員は顔が死んでおりサービスは無きに等しいです。 浴場は狭く他のかたが指摘しているように水温が緩かったです。 食事は夜はコース料理で味は悪くないのですが、朝食のバリエーションと量が少なすぎます。 そして1番ショックだったのが滞在してまもなく財布内の紙幣が盗まれていたことです。この事態にホテル側は全く対応せず、私たちが狂言揺りを目論んでいるのではないかと嘲りの目を向けてきました。 警察が来てもホテル側は監視カメラは一才置いてないと語るのみで全く協力しませんでした。 後日メールで問い合わせてみましたが手続きが雑多な上始めに送った2封は無視され、最終的にグループの経営部門に事態を話した結果、コピペした痕跡がありありの謝罪文が送られてきました。 あらゆる意味でこのホテルは問題に塗れております。ホテル周囲は過疎化が進んでおり2-3件の家以外商業施設などは全て閉店しております。交通も不便でもしホテルの従業員が何らかの悪事をしても訴えるところや逃げる場所すらありません。今でも当時のことを思い出すと本当に危険な状態だったんだなと恐ろしく感じます。 あまりに過疎化が進んだ地域は避けましょう。 I had high expectations as it's part of the Groove chain, but I was thoroughly disappointed. I booked a twin room with Western-style furnishings, but the room was cramped and sparsely equipped, more akin to a business hotel. The beds were small; anyone over 175cm tall would find them uncomfortable. The staff looked utterly disinterested, and service was virtually non-existent. The bathhouse was cramped, and as others have noted, the water temperature was lukewarm. Dinner was a course meal, and the taste wasn't bad, but the breakfast variety and quantity were far too limited. The most shocking incident occurred shortly after our stay began: banknotes were stolen from my wallet. The hotel showed absolutely no response to this situation, instead casting mocking glances as if we were staging a false alarm. Even when the police arrived, the hotel merely stated they didn't keep surveillance camera footage and offered no cooperation whatsoever. I later inquired via email, but the process was cumbersome. The first two messages I sent were ignored. Ultimately, after explaining the situation to the group's management department, I received an apology letter that clearly bore the marks of being copied and pasted. In every sense, this hotel is riddled with problems. The area surrounding the hotel is severely depopulated; apart from two or three houses, all commercial establishments have closed down. Transport links are poor, meaning if any hotel staff were to commit wrongdoing, there would be nowhere to report it or escape to. Even now, recalling that time, I feel a real sense of dread at how dangerous the situation truly was. Avoid areas where depopulation has progressed to such an extreme."
