Sea World Club Beach Resort & Dive Center

Before traveling to Maumere, I requested a budget for accommodation and diving in several resorts with diving centers. The first to respond was sea world and they sent me a reasonable price for the accommodation and diving package. The pack indicated that the minimum to apply that price was two divers. Since I was traveling alone, I asked him if he could keep the same price for me even though I was a single diver. He answered me yes. When I arrived I asked him for a quote again as I wanted to do a few more dives than the manager had sent me in the original pack. It was not until the end of the third day of diving that he gave me the budget and, to my surprise, the price was almost triple what was agreed in the original package. He told me that, when he sent me the first budget, he had made a mistake in calculating the accommodation and that also, being a single diver, he had to pay double for the dive. It was useless to show him the email where he assured me to keep the same price even though I was a single buecador. He threatened to call the police if I didn't pay what he asked for. In order to avoid more serious problems, I agreed to an agreement in which I had to pay considerably more than what was originally agreed. With this new budget I couldn't dive anymore and I had to spend my remaining 3 days in Maumere without diving. If even after reading this you dare to dive with them, ask for a detailed budget and make sure you leave everything well tied up.
