It's a decent place, but its main advantage is the low price. The room was quite spacious for the price point, but the lighting was really dim. Plus, there was this distinct smell, like in Malaysian taxis, that I just couldn't stand. But then again, it was cheap. Also, if you want breakfast, make sure to pre-select it. Adding it at the hotel costs almost 60 per person, which is so expensive! 😭

I had a wonderful stay at Raia Hotel and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist with a warm smile. Their professionalism and hospitality made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job of maintaining the room each day. The hotel's facilities were excellent, and the location was convenient, making it easy to travel to nearby attractions and amenities. I also enjoyed the food, which offered a good variety and was delicious. Overall, my experience at Raia Hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

We have stayed at this hotel more than a dozen times whenever we visit Kota Kinabalu because of its excellent location. However, the overall service remains average. The breakfast selection is fairly standard and the rooms are decent but nothing exceptional.      One area that still needs improvement is the bathroom cleanliness. During our recent stay we found quite a bit of fallen hair and the shower drain was partially clogged causing the water to drain very slowly. As loyal guests of Raia Hotel  we sincerely hope the management will pay more attention to cleanliness and maintenance. We look forward to seeing improvements during our future stays.

Good stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that the TV in the room was not working. Apart from that, everything was great and I enjoyed my stay.

Had a great stay here! The hotel was very clean and smelled amazing. Check-in process was smooth and easy, plus i even got a free upgrade, ************* 😊 Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Definitely recommended!

The room is spacious, everything is clean, comfy bed and pillow. I think the flooring is new too because in my previous stay they used carpet. Most importantly, there is a parking bay specified for visitors. Last but not least, it's so pleasant to hear Fajr prayer call from a nearby masjid.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and the beach, and the rooms are quite spacious with good air conditioning. However, the mosque next door broadcasts its call to prayer at 6 AM, which can be disruptive to sleep.

Third stay at Raia Hotel KK and it never disappoints! 5⭐️ The room is really spacious and super comfortable — plenty of space to relax after a long day. Cleanliness is always tiptop; everything feels fresh and well maintained every time I check in. One thing I really appreciate is the parking. There’s free parking and lots of it, so you never have to worry about finding a spot. Such a big convenience! 🚗 This is already my 3rd time staying here and the experience has been consistently great. Definitely one of my go-to places whenever I’m in Kota Kinabalu. 👍

Around 300 a night, the price matches the room quality. It's less than a 10-minute drive from the airport, so I'd actually recommend it.

Had a pleasant stay at Rai Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the facilities were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a convenient and enjoyable stay. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The location is a bit out of the way, and the pillows weren't cleaned properly; they were dirty and smelled bad.
