A beautiful, peaceful and comfortable place to stay with family or friends. Its is away from the hustle and bustle of city and the crowds, making it the perfect place for anyone who simply wants to relax abd unwind after a long tiring day at work. Just one small suggestion: it would be nice to have a small round table on the balcony where guests can place their drinks while relaxing and enjoying the beautiful greenery and peaceful forest surroundings.

Bathroom drain very slow and it clogged. Need maintenance on the doors. Cleanliness need to be improved. Food was ok. Overall is okay.

The resort has undergone several upgrades, adding many Instagram-worthy photo spots such as swings, love signs, eagle sculptures, giant hand displays and more, making the experience more enjoyable for visitors. The room was fairly spacious. However, it seemed like it had not been occupied for some time, resulting in a slightly stale smell. Unfortunately, the bath and shampoo gel were also not replenished, leaving us without any soap for our shower. By the time we informed the front desk, it was already too late as reception had closed for the day. A proper pair of slippers should also be provided, as the only pair available was quite dirty. That said, when we informed the maid on Duty and the front desk the next morning, they were very apologetic and handled the feedback professionally. The ground-floor rooms are especially pleasant as guests can step out directly into the garden and enjoy a full view of Mount Kinabalu. The butterfly garden is also a nice touch, although we did not spot many butterflies during our visit. The food was acceptable, but nothing particularly memorable. Despite a few shortcomings, Kokol Haven Resort is still a lovely place to escape from the city for a relaxing “hushpitality” break. It is encouraging to see that the landscaping and facilities are continuously being upgraded, and such efforts deserve support and encouragement.

Stayed at Kokol Haven Resort and truly enjoyed the breathtaking panoramic views overlooking Kota Kinabalu, especially the beautiful sunset moments that created unforgettable scenery alongside the natural mountain landscape and peaceful surroundings with cute, quiet cats. The hotel service was generally pleasant, and the dining environment was comfortable and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind while enjoying the stunning views. However, improvements are needed for the unstable electricity supply in the room, and it would be helpful to have better late-night counter service to respond promptly to customer phone calls.

Fantastic sunrise & sunset views BUT rooms not as clean as would have preferred. Bathing toiletries not labeled. Not sure which is Shampoo vs Body Wash. No conditioner was provided. One of the bottle of toiletries the pump was spoiled. Nothing comes out when depressed. Breakfast vary basic. Spread not good.Road conditions were bad. Some of the road slopes should be paved with tarmac.

Beautiful view😍 a very beautiful place for couples and family to travel and unwinding 😍 just wish the breakfast would have more varieties of choices.

Staycation at Kokol Haven Resort was truly a wonderful moment. Amazing sunset view right in front of the main hotel, and a beautiful sunrise at the Herbs Garden, Rose Villa. A short getaway from Kota Kinabalu to escape the hectic moments.

The hotel has nice city views and an amazing sunset view, worth it to stay a night and in the morning, you can have a beautiful sunrise view too.

Pretty nice. Great view and the staff are really nice and helpful.

It has a strong smell of wood in the room. The hair dryer's wattage is too low. Also, the towel has a hole... but the breakfast is still ok lah...

Been there twice through this app.. best price among all yet two different time and room got the same matter : Toilet bowl’s cover broken a side which cause displacement

Beautiful place with nice breeze. Love the surroundings and absolutely 💯 no doubt worth every money for the room & breakfast. [Seperated things] Since it is New Year, they have countdown event. Great event minus the food. The food.. OMG. Please improve the cuisine.

The bedsheet was dirty when we arrived in the evening, and I had to request a replacement. The location is very far, though the view of the mountains and city is nice. Breakfast was okay but limited. The family room was quite pricey for the experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight—if you want to see the sunrise or sunset, a day trip is sufficient since there’s not much else to do.
