We've just returned from our safari in Masai Mara, where we liked the animals from the park as much as the one we met close to Mara Simba Lodge. The accommodation and services met our expectations and the view from restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner was fantastic; we enjoyed very much staying there and we highly recommend Mara Simba Lodge to everyone going to Masai Mara.

We booked the hotel directly with Mr Chirag, GM. Booking was very simple and the payment processing was also through secured online link. Mr Chirag even organized Land Cruiser for Game Drive as well as the Balloon drive! Stay at hotel was fantastic experience Mr Lepapa (Mark) assisted us in Restaurant

We stayed at Mara Simba Lodge in June as a group of 3 friends, enjoying the lovely weather. The lodge, located deep in the wild near the Mara River, offers breathtaking scenery and a great location to go on the game drives for the hunt of the big5, lucky enough we had some great experiences. However, despite these positives, my experience fell short of expectations for a lodge that claims a 4-star rating and luxury. Rooms: We stayed in a triple room and unfortunately, the rooms are in urgent need of an upgrade. The furniture is outdated. The bathroom, too, was old and required maintenance, while the bed was uncomfortable. Additionally, the level of cleanliness was not up to what I was expecting. I tried to raise this issue with the front desk but they ensured me we have a good room. Food: The lodge offers buffet-style meals, which was convenient. However, the food lacked variety and flavor, especially for those staying more than a couple of nights. A little more creativity and would elevate the dining experience. The meals packed for the game drivers need an upgrade. The staff were friendly and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor areas, including the lodge's surroundings, were stunning and well-maintained. While the lodge is situated in a fantastic location with amazing views of the wild, the overall experience is not up to the standard of a luxury 4-star accommodation. For the price, aside from the natural beauty, the rooms fall short. I would definitely recommend the masi mara safari experience but not the lodge.

Best lodge in Masai mara. The food was excellent and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and always available to assist. The lodge manager received us well when we arrived late at night and he ensured we were catered for.

Nice environment and food, we had a lovely time and stayed for 2 nights. Animals near the camp added to the atmosphere we were looking for. Staff were friendly and services such as massage were available too Accomodation and room size is good

This was the third stop on our safari while travelling to Kenya. The lodge was a very beautiful property situated along Talek river. The wooden structures for the major structures provided it with a very unique aesthetic. The staff was very helpful in their provision of service. We particularly liked the restaurant and food selection as there was tons of variety and slot of personal attention when it came to my wife needing some certain dishes as well as allergies noted down . The rooms provided a great view into the talek river as well as the vast Savannah after it, They were quite spacious as well. The park fees for entering the park itself however was too high in our opinion, US$ 200.00 Per day in a month of October seems quite high and seems like the general consensus was the same with a lot of the folks on the ground. Overall , really enjoyed our stay and would definitely think of returning again. Alvaro

I went to Mara Simba during November last year (2024) the weather at the time was very decent. This hotel had great rooms with incredible views of the Talek River, I specifically liked the fact that the lodge rooms were quite spacious from what I was expecting. The food was excellent, I managed to get a good amount of continental cuisine variety and the chef was very accommodating in making sure any particular favourites were made for us for meals. We managed to see a coalition of 5 fully grown cheetah just a few kilometeres from the Lodges bridge Entrance to the park splendid visit. Grayson

I know this is called a 'lodge' but it is really a hotel. It's nice property in Masai Mara, well-located near Keekorok. The rooms were comfortable, and the highlight was watching hippos emerge from the river each evening. Chirag, the marketing director, was incredibly helpful in organising our trip as we didn't use a tour operator - he helped us organize transport, game drives and the hot air balloon experience. Meals were included, and the bar was a nice touch. The only downside was the shower, which had hot water but lacked water pressure.
