The hotel is old; I stayed there three years ago. I noticed the hotel's attempts to improve and renovate it, but it's still old, and the rooms smell bad due to dampness and rotting wood. To be fair, there were no insects, but it's very old, with dark and gloomy colors and weak, uninspiring lighting. Breakfast was average, despite the lack of tea prepared with fresh milk in the authentic Kerala style. However, it was okay for those with limited income, and for us, it was an experience we wouldn't repeat. Especially when it came to checkout, they barely allowed us to leave at 2 o'clock after a discussion and argument, even though our flight was late at night.

I had a wonderful stay at KPM Tripenta Hotel in Calicut. The location on Mini Bypass Road is very convenient, close to Sarovaram Bio Park and easy to reach from the station or city centre. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable experience — great for both leisure and business travellers. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again! 🌟
