Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang (Opening December 2025)

Great location, near to ao nang beach, but not too buzy, near the mosque, lots of halal options. The receptionist, bell man and chill kitchen are great esp Mr tun (bell captain), always smile and very helpful. Breakfast crew are warm and welcoming. However the check in was not on time, was told 40 minutes for the room to be ready, the check in was settled around 4pm. The room was spacious and clean. But the hallways looks like it is still work in progress and quite dusty. We were not happy during our 2nd day as no housekeeping done for our room, we went back late in the evening, called twice for new towel end up going down to the reception to get our room cleaned. This is the 1st out of many five stars hotel we encounter this issue. I was surprised they told us this is a 5 stars hotel..Mind u,we just got back from their sister hotel in lombok (pullman) and it was phenomenal. So we expect the same thing to this hotel. Since this is a newly opened hotel, I hope they will improve..

It was a very nice luxury hotel. The staff honestly makes you feel like royalty. The hotel, swimming pool area, restaurant and rooms look very high end and well kept. Definitely recommend staying here if you like a luxury feel. It’s close to many restaurants and shops and they have a free shuttle service to the beach.
