Today I come to Krabi and have a chance to stay at Aree Tara Resort here. The rooms are clean, beautiful, have a swimming pool, but not too big. Not far from Ao Nang, inexpensive, good service staff.

We had a nice stay here. It was very short. But there was a travel person at the desk you could book excursions with which we did. As it was super easy we missed breakfast and they gave us a bag each to take with us so we didn’t miss out. Good location, everything near. Pool is very closed off so not much sun hits it. Pleasant staff.

Even though that most of the staff members spoke little to no English, they were always friendly and tried their best to help me somehow. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough, great hospitality here.
The rooms are spacious and clean enough.
It was just so annoying that they renovated their whole hotel at the moment and sometimes woke me up because they were doing some work around my room or talked to each other so loud. (The rooms aren't soundproof at all)

Resort maybe a bit of stretch, a hotel is more like it. Just away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, made it the place to get the best of both worlds. The hotel is surrounded by numerous travel agents in which you can get any of the numerous boat tours and scooter hire. Which makes getting around and activities easy to do. A nice pool, even though shaded most of the day, and a good selection for breakfast. The only downside I would say is that it is getting to that point where a few things need a refresh and updating. On the whole though I would definitely stay here again.
