Golden Tulip Krakow Kazimierz

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in the Jewish quarter and only a few minutes walk to a small square with a coffee shop, bakery and some good restaurants. There is a little food court area further past the square with several amazing food trucks. There is also a shop a few doors down from the hotel for any essentials. It is perfect for walking to Wawel castle and the main square area. We were located on the 2nd floor above the side entrance. There was some outside noise but expected from the location of the hotel. You can hear people from the next room quite easily. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was modern with a really good shower. The only thing to let it down slightly was the carpet and headboard looked a little tired. There were some toiletries provided, a safe, hairdryer, kettle and drink making facilities (no milk). Towels were provided but were quite small. We used the restaurant for breakfast which was buffet style, very good selection of hot and cold food. Everything was clearly labelled. There is a bar but we never used it. Reception staff are helpful and kept our bags safe before check in and after check out. If you're wanting to visit Auschwitz whilst in Krakow I recommend a company called "Hello Krakow" they pick up from the Jewish quarter about 10 mins walk from the hotel.

Had a lovely stay at the Golden Tulip Kazimierz. Very comfortable rooms,spotlessly clean and very quiet. Great restaurant and bar facilities, the food in the restaurant was superb and very reasonably priced. Hotel is a great starting off point for Krakow attractions and is within walking distance of many of them. Tram stop is nearby and is ideal for longer trips out. All in all a very pleasant hotel and will definitely use again.

Nice hotel just outside the old Jewish area of Kraków. Tram lines run on the street in front of the hotel. It is not walking distance to Kraków Główny but an inexpensive Uber ride away. Walk to the Vistula River for food and scenic views. Walking distance to Wawel Castle and Old Town. The shower is on the small side, and the bed was essentially two twin beds pushed together. The mattress was hard to my liking, and the crack made for some uncomfortable nights. The bar was nice and stayed open to around 10 pm. (2200). Included breakfast had a decent selection, but lines at the coffee machines were often long. Be aware there are two Golden Tulip hotels that are often confused.

We stayed for 4 nights and the room wasn't really clean with things under the bed from previous guests. Our bins were not emptied daily so smelly rubbish remained. The biggest problem was the power in the hotel went out twice during our stay. After long days sightseeing, showering in the dark, no TV, no heating/A/C and no restaurant was not acceptable. The lights continued to flicker on and off all night waking everyone up. Promises of it being fixed in 10 minutes turned into 7-8 hours of no power each night. No apology was offered at checkout despite me reminding them that they probably should. It's disappointing because the bar and breakfast staff were excellent.

Great stay at the Krakow Kazimierz. Lovely staff from check in, to cocktail bar to room. Excellent breakfast sellection available each morning, continental style. The location is absolutely ideal for exploring the Jewish Quarter and we will most definitely be back!
