We had a pleasant stay, but honestly, this hotel doesn’t live up to its 5-star claims. The pool, sauna, and breakfast options were definite highlights and worth mentioning. That said, there were several areas that fell short of a true 5-star experience. The WiFi was weak and unreliable, and the TV kept freezing, which was frustrating. Our superior room lacked a coffee machine — just a kettle and two coffee sachets — and there was no fresh milk, only creamer. The bathroom was missing basic amenities like conditioner and lotion. Parking is about 150 meters away on a gravel dirt track, which isn’t ideal. The hotel’s claim of mountain views felt misleading; the view is really just of Krynica town, not the surrounding mountains. Plus, the hotel sits on a very steep hill, which could be a challenge, especially for older guests. Offering shuttle services or golf carts to and from town would make a big difference. All in all, I wouldn’t book this hotel again. It feels overpriced for the level of service provided, which is okay but not what I’d expect from a genuine 5-star place. Definitely not the best choice for guests over 60 due to the location and accessibility.
