We had moderate expectations due to the price being low for the area, but seeing lots of good reviews on booking site we expected hotel to be adequate. Unfortunately we felt like we were in a different hotel to what the ‘exceptional’ reviews were describing. Yes- the hotel was in a construction area, but so is a lot of Ksamil so that can’t be helped. It is also near a beach so those aspects were ok. What wasn’t was: - the rude staff, who we felt like a hinderance to and who didn’t invite any communication. They were not at reception on arrival and then were curt when they arrived. This continued. - lots of below par aspects to room.. - poor breakfast and hard to access coffee. We left 4 days early and believe the reviews on booking site of aggression from owners as there was little warmth or welcome.
