I don't know if I'm the first one in China to comment on this hotel. This hotel is next to Petaling Street (China Street), opposite the subway station and not far from the passenger station. The location is undoubtedly, but! The environment is average, the space is small, the room I live in can't see the view, there is only a big water storage tank next to it, it is very noisy, the air conditioner is annoying, blowing on people, so I cough up phlegm...of course it is my own question. There is another thing that I find particularly interesting: the front desk charged 50 MYR, and he directly stapled the reservation form and 50 yuan in cash with a stapler. When I handed it to me, I saw that there were two staple holes in the money , this is shocking, their currency is really.... dare not say Generally speaking, it is actually ok. The location, price, and service are very good. If you are traveling or doing business, you can live here. It is also a good choice

Whilst this hotel may not be everyone's cup of Teh Tahrik, it was certainly mine. I loved my stay here - the aesthetic of industrial chic was brilliant, the bed was super comfortable, the A/C and fan effective, staff friendly and inobtrusive, and in a great location on the fringe of Chinatown. Though I didn't have breakfast included, I did get a complimentary drink in the cafe downstairs each day. The outdoor bathroom was great as well - not for everyone I'll admit, but I quite liked it. If I had to point out some flaws, the lack of fridge was a surprise omission - though complimentary water bottles were available whenever I wanted (just not chilled). The room also was not especially dark at night - lots of LEDs from smoke alarms and the A/C, plus the lights from the courtyard/airwell plus the general light of the city coming in from the top windows. If sensitive to light, take eye masks. Otherwise, this has absolutely become my go-to hotel in KL.

I booked this one in a rush, and didn't pay careful enough attention. The hotel is above some shops, and has an austere Soviet feel about the place. We got our rooms, which were next to each other. Before we opened the door, I could tell by the layout of the hotel that they wouldn't have windows. Sure enough they did not. They also smelled a bit. My daughter felt they smelled of damp, I felt they smelled of camphor (to kill bugs and insects), either way they were dark, dingy, unpleasant places. Not the sort of place you'd want to stay. I went back to reception, and after some negotiation, and a little extra money, we got moved to front rooms. Different floors, but one above the other. Gosh, what a difference. We looked out our windows and had Chinatown spread out in front of us - Jalan Hang Lekir leading to the crossing with Petaling Street. Around 100 yards along Jalan Sultan there is Modern Madness brewpub (which doesn't actually brew beer, but adds flavouring to beers they buy from the Napex brewery (Legend beers). We loved it here because of the location, and ending up with rooms with a view. If we had the rooms without no windows, we would have hated the place.
