Grand Mercure Properties in Kuala Lumpur

I've spent 4 nights at Grand Mercure Bukit Bintang as it was a newly renovated and name rebrand from the Old Swiss Garden hotel in October 2025. We've taken the deluxe room and I have to say it is really spacious and the toilet is massive with huge shower space. Complimentary snacks and drinks are given upon check in and it's walking distance to some nice brunch cafes behind the hotel and when you cross the road, it will lead you to Alor street food haven. You can also walk to Chinatown Petaling street which is further away. The only gripe I have and it only applies if you are using the gym on L3. There's 2 running treadmills but the one on the left side is already not working, leaving one functional only. Aircon wasn't turned on when I wanted to use and I have to call reception twice before someone came down to do it. I hope management sees this and work on the gym equipment maintenance as its only a few months old. Overall the stay has been a positive one and I hope it stays that way.
