This time, it was quite a letdown! I wouldn't really recommend staying here. I was drawn in by the rooftop pool view, but the actual stay was very mediocre. Plus, it's a good 20-minute walk to Pavilion or the Petronas Towers, which isn't great in the hot weather. We stayed in room 1906, which was right next to the elevator – absolutely terrible. We could hear the elevator running all day and night, especially when trying to sleep; it felt like the elevator was operating right next to the head of our bed, separated by just one wall. The noise severely impacted our sleep! It only quieted down a bit after 2 AM. Secondly, the elevators in this building are incredibly slow; it takes at least ten minutes every time to get downstairs. And there's no air conditioning in the elevators, so they're often packed and stiflingly hot. Some people are wet from swimming, others are foreigners wearing strong perfume – taking the elevator was a real ordeal. Thirdly, the apartment uses an electric water heater! Only the first person to shower got hot water; everyone else after that basically had to use cold water! This type of setup is not suitable for families with children or elderly people. Also, the host explicitly stated that there would be no cleaning during our stay. They would only leave fresh towels outside the door if requested, and we had to take our own trash to the bins in the back stairwell; violating this rule would result in heavy fines. These things differ from what we're used to back home and are worth noting. Overall, the stay was quite a poor experience.
