We managed to get a late checkout, which was appreciated and definitely a plus.
The room was fine overall. The bathtub was okay and cleanliness was acceptable. However, the downside was the shower area—the pipe seemed clogged, causing some flooding during shower time. Also, no bathrobe was provided, which was a little disappointing.
Unfortunately, the check-in experience was not pleasant. The staff handling our check-in appeared unclear and not very helpful. The female staff did not explain the hotel facilities properly, and there was no explanation regarding parking—whether it was free or paid, the rates, or how in-house guest parking works. While we understood that our request for rooms on the same floor could not be fulfilled, when we asked for clarification, she seemed unable to understand the question and could not explain the reason clearly. She kept saying that another staff had taken the room and even made some unpleasant remarks about the other staff, which felt unprofessional.
Additionally, one of the front office staff was unable to assist us regarding the “chill out space.” He asked us to look for other staff at that area instead to check if we were allowed to use the space, which was not helpful at all.
On a positive note, breakfast was great. There were plenty of food options and the taste was very good. The only downside was that the café air conditioning was not cold enough, making it slightly uncomfortable.
Overall, the stay was average. The room and food were decent, but the front office service and communication definitely need improvement.
