Got a great view while staying at this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Within walking distance to Jalan Alor and Bukit Bintang.

This is the second time we have stayed at Starus Hotel. We had 2 rooms booked, and one had an upgrade to floor 16th premier floor.
The location is great.
The rooms are serviced every day, but only the towels and refill of the amenities. The floor and carpet were never gotten cleaned. I had to make a request to have the carpet vacuum, because I saw nails clipping on carpet since I checked in.
It would have been good to have room, including floor cleaned on your check-in.

Basic amenities are all provided. There's a nearby night market so it's easy to find food. Okay for a short stay but be prepared that the soundproofing is not the most ideal. There's always a jam because it's centrally located in the busy area of Bukit Bintang. Bars and pubs all around the area, so it gets really noisy even on the high floors (especially during the holiday period where firecrackers and fireworks go on from midnight till as late as 6AM in the morning). The room is really dark as well (as seen in photo, all lights were turned on). Service was mediocre - we had the cleaning staff pressing our doorbell at 730AM in the morning, and opening our door when we were still in bed. Overall, ok but would not recommend.

Good for a chill stay but difficult to work as there's insufficient lighting.
Night life just outside.
Alot of food in this area.
Have all the basic needs; slipper, toiletries, safe, baggage stand.

Nice location, just one road beside Jalan Alor and very near Bukit Bintang MRT. I didn’t get to try the breakfast because I couldn’t wake up early. The hotel provides luggage storage and a resting area at the lobby, with welcome drinks available. Highly recommended for family or solo travellers who prefer to stay around Bukit Bintang.
However, the room doesn’t have a main ceiling light, only a few table lamps, which are not bright enough. It feels quite dim at night. I stayed for two nights, on the second day, the room service came in the evening, but I didn’t let them clean the room since it was my rest time.

Room and amenities were very good. Location wise, near to food places like jalan alor, bukit bintang, walkable distance to mrt and monorel station. Staffs are friendly and very welcoming. Kudos to the hotel management team!

Steps away from Alor street foods, massage parlors and bars. The room is clean and spacious but sound proof wise not so good. Suggestions - it is better to allocate connecting rooms to family or groups, at least can reduce noise disturbance from next door for solo/couples who will prefer quiet environment.
