The Explorers Guesthouse and Hostel

It was the worst experience i have ever had. 1. Had a rat just out of my door 2. No hot water, u should take cold shower(even i turned on the heater) 3. Not available to charge your stuff 4. Reception indian guy was very very rude and disrespectful with the guests. 5. Everything is too old, need to renew at least the plugging.

It was a great stay but the cleanliness could be improved and sucks that theres no elevator available.

My 4 bed dorm room.was OK, pretty clean, but beds are instable, shaking when you move, making it hard to sleep. AC is not cold. When I came back from.a walk, my lower bed was taken by another guy, while my stuff was ON my bed, he just moved my stuff to the upper bed. Very bed room mate, disgusting, no manners. On the upper bed I didn't sleep all night, because the matrass was old and I could feel the springs (while the lower matrass was good). Bathroom is quite clean. Some have hot water, others have only cold shower. But it was OK. I was given a free towel upon checkin. But the hostel is not like in the pictures. I stayed there a few years ago, ground floor (reception area) was very spacious like in the photos, with lots of space to sit and socialize. But they gave about 70 percent of that space to a Bangladeshi restaurant next door, making the hostel common relax spaces very narrow. Location is very good. But I won't stay again here.

Need to improve the hygiene and also your management. Gave me a dormitory room but it was already full. And after changed, bed bug found. I got bitten by the bedbugs too!!! If I can upload videos here, surely I will do it!!!

Good room but the table is spoilt. The place is lil dusty. Only ONE ELECTRICAL SOCKET!!??? Room is spartan. Aircon is leaking a little water every now and then. The hooks for clothes are not perfect. Luckily no bedbugs.

No lamps in the four bed dorms. The aircon leaks water. The room is cramped. No way I’m back
