Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Terengganu is a solid 4-star choice, especially if you need to be near the airport. It is widely known as a family-friendly and Islamic-friendly hotel.

At first glance, the hotel looked very impressive from the outside. During the check-in process, the receptionist was very polite and courteous. Every question was answered kindly and with detailed information about the hotel and its facilities. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped with a convenient work desk, making it easy for me to complete my work. The Wi-Fi connection was fast, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. My husband also had the opportunity to enjoy the swimming pool provided by the hotel. The pool was Muslim-friendly, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed. In the evening, we decided not to go out for dinner and chose to have the hotel buffet instead. The dining experience was very pleasant, and the food was delicious. We were satisfied with the quality and felt that it was worth the price we paid. We also booked a package that included breakfast. The breakfast was superb and very tasty, and the staff provided excellent service by clearing the plates quickly and efficiently. Whenever we visit Kuala Terengganu in the future, we will definitely choose to stay at Hotel Raia again.

I would not recommend this hotel..firstly because the location is quite far from the city. You will be charged for requesting extra towels (Rm10 per towel) which is not happening in any other hotels I have been to. You will also be charged for a late check out. Rm20 per hour. The food was average.

Staff name Aida is very helpful, i asked for a little deco for my parents birthday and she helped me prepared a beautiful deco in the room, we just came with a peace of mind knowing everything has been prepared accordingly. Thank you 🫶🏻

My room was spacious dan impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable bed, modern amenities like a safe, and lovely soft lighting. The staff were the true highlight, receptionists were friendly and efficient, thanks to the outstanding staff and excellent facilities. The hotel restaurant had a beautiful setting, and while pricier, the food quality was generally excellent.

I was very impressed with the services provided by Raia Hotel from day 1 to day 5 of our stay. The cleanliness was superb, and the staff were very polite and friendly. 100/10!

Excellent CX with RAIA, the hotel service team which is reception, the security all is so friendly and helpfull. The hotel ambience is excellent and their hotel smells is so nice. And a plus for ambulation pipe in the toilet.

Very clean and nice place to stay.

The room was quite spacious, but the overall feel was a bit dated. Because of its proximity to the sea, it also felt a little damp. There were quite a few water stains on the tables, cups, and bowls. Breakfast was relatively plentiful, slightly above average for the price point in Southeast Asia, but the overall taste was rather ordinary. The salad bar had a limited and not-so-fresh selection of fruits and vegetables. There was a noticeable abundance of heavily flavored, oily, and sugary dishes.

Stayed at Raia Hotel recently. The earliest check-in I was able to get was at 2:30 PM, which was a bit later than I expected. The room was generally clean and comfortable, but there was an air leak/dripping issue from the air conditioner, which was quite inconvenient. Staff were polite and helpful, though. With a bit of maintenance improvement, it could be a much better stay.
