Theatre Hotel

This hotel is centrally located & makes accessing to the places of interest in the city very convenient. We have had a short stay here & hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. Overall a good experience.

Booked Single Bed room, the room is spacious and come with smart tv. Bed are comfortable.

Hotel has an aesthetic look, including inside the rooms. However, the mattress and pillows are not the most ideal; mattress is the normal spring type, which didn't provide much support, and pillows are the microfiber type (I had neck pain after a night of sleeping on one). Queen rooms are all facing in the direction of the traffic light , which was quite the nightmare for a light sleeper. Room windows provided no soundproofing at all, so I got no sleep till 1-2am on the first night due to constant revving of delivery motorbikes from around the junction at the traffic light (which could be heard a few times in just 1 min). Service from staff however proved to be tip top as they attended most professionally to my complaint on noise and got me a change of rooms to the quieter side of the building. Breakfast spread was good, with a completely different main menu on the buffet over the 2 days that I was there, and delicious as well.

Last minute booking and this is the only available room. The room cater for 4 person and very very spacious. Even the bathroom is as big as a bedroom. Few things that lack are the room cater for 4 people but the furniture not accommodate for 4 people. The place to put your luggage can only put one luggage. There is only one table and it is a very small table. For 4 people there will be not enough space to put stuff there. Not sure the purpose having a bathtub in the bedroom though. Location wise roughly around 1km plus to the riverfront. So still within walking distance. Breakfast not much choices so my advice to find food outside.

Theatre hotel Kuching is about 15 mins drive from Kuching Airport.Check in is fast and the staff is polite and helpful.Kuching waterfront is about 15 minutes walk from hotel.Surrounding a lot of food stall and cafe.room is small but clean and have TV. breakfast is limited but foods are delicious.Easy parking too.

The room is clean. The bed and pillows are comfy. The staffs are very helpful and friendly especially the housekeeping department. The only bad things is the sound insulation isn’t very good.
