Wasuki Tsukasakan

I searched for a single room on Trip.com and booked, but it kept showing as a double. Unfortunately, the staff were very helpful. It seems like a fairly old place, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The interior has an antique feel, yet it feels well-maintained. The rooms are spacious. You have to go to the main lobby to get water, but all the amenities are provided at the check-in desk. You don't need a toothbrush or anything else. It's a bit disappointing that you have to use the lobby water purifier to get water, but there's a vending machine in the lobby, so it's not a problem. I couldn't use the bathroom because of my cold, but I slept well. There's also a fabric deodorizer in the closet. Finally, it's a great place to stay, as it's within walking distance of the city center and popular tourist spots, and it's also close to Kumamoto Castle and Sakuramachi.

I went with my mom. The location was perfect, and the accommodation had a unique atmosphere. The room was larger than most hotels, and there was a table in the room, so we could comfortably enjoy beer and other snacks. We used the large public bath, and the water was wonderful. After a long walk, soaking in the warm water made me feel much less tired the next day. The breakfast was also very satisfying.

The location is excellent, with a shopping street just around the corner and Kumamoto Castle and the Kumamoto Minister's Office within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous, even accepting Amazon packages. Excellent service!
