A recent one-day stay at Fariyas Resort, Lonavala, was unfortunately disappointing and fell far short of expectations for a property that markets itself as a premium destination. While the location and initial appeal of the resort promised a relaxing getaway, multiple issues, particularly concerning staff negligence and overall hygiene, marred the experience. The most striking flaw was the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. Upon checking in, we discovered that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Stains on the bedding, dust on the furniture, and a musty odor made it evident that proper housekeeping standards were not maintained. Given the price point and reputation of Fariyas Resort, this level of negligence was unacceptable. Even after notifying the staff, the response was lackluster, and no significant effort was made to rectify the situation promptly. The dining experience at the resort also left much to be desired. During the buffet, there was a noticeable lack of supervision, leading to several disturbing instances. Most concerning was the sight of unsupervised children putting their hands directly into food dispensers, causing hygiene concerns. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, there was no immediate action taken to ensure better monitoring or uphold basic food safety standards. For a property of this stature, such lapses are not just disappointing but also unacceptable, especially given the current emphasis on health and safety. The overall attitude of the staff was another major letdown. From the moment of check-in, there seemed to be an air of indifference among the team. Requests for basic services were either ignored or met with significant delays. For instance, it took repeated follow-ups to get fresh towels, and the lack of attentiveness extended to other aspects of service as well. The staff's behavior at the reception was particularly discourteous, which set a negative tone for the stay. While the resort boasts an impressive location and visually appealing surroundings, these positives were overshadowed by the glaring operational inefficiencies and lack of attention to guest satisfaction. Simple steps like better housekeeping protocols, proactive staff training, and stricter supervision in the dining area could go a long way in improving the guest experience. In its current state, Fariyas Resort seems to be resting on its laurels, relying heavily on its location to draw in visitors while neglecting the basic principles of hospitality. For travelers seeking a worry-free and enjoyable stay in Lonavala, it may be worth exploring other options unless significant improvements are made.

Stay was amazing and the in house food was excellent. My compliments to the entire team for the excellent service.

Our stay was excellent at Fariyas, we being a family of 6 adults and 1 child aged 16months. The breakfast was too good with a lot of variety and very good taste. We attended the musical event on 10th Sep and the host-cum singer was spot on in entertaining the crowd with his magical voice and excellent hosting.

Location and room is very good Hotel is very good and staff service is very good specially I like service of poonam and shruti both take care of my kids.
